**Laughs happily** I am having a little too much fun making new stories. I but I hope you guys like this one. Just like Because You Loved Me this fic was inspired by a song. Maroon 5 wrote Not Coming Home, and I just love that song because it is absolutely about Kagome and Inuyasha. I hope you enjoy this. I'm such a dork!
Chapter 1
Meeting Sesshomaru
Kagome stared at her trigonometry teacher, Ms. Tsuki, as she tried to teach a new theorem to the class and more than half was not getting it and her being one of them. 'Oh god! I don't understand this! I normally excel in math, why aren't I getting it now?' Her mind cried out in frustration as she tried to comprehend her new math problem. 'Ok, she said that you multiply the variable of x with the denominator, or was it you multiply the denominator with y?' She groaned before putting her head onto her paper. 'I hate college. Two years down, two to go. Yippee.' Came her sarcastic thought before she picked up her head and looked around the classroom. Freshman sat on the first rows while seniors sat on the last rows, overlooking everyone and acting high and mighty. 'Will this class end yet? I'm so hungry!' To prove a point, her stomach growled loudly and caused Kagome to blush a bright red as several people looked at her. Finally the bell rang ending her torment off the evil math equations. She walked down the stairs and stood outside the door and waited for her friends to come down the stairs. She saw a flash of white before a puppy-dog ear was in her sight. She found herself looking into the amber eyes of her boyfriend and found him glaring at her.
"Stop gazing into space. I'm hungry and I'm not waiting for Sango and Miroku. So you can either wait for them or come with me." He growled as he waited for her decision, and then he deemed that she took too long and stomped off.
"Oh, look it's the hanyou's bitch! Hey cunt, tell me how good is he? Because he looks like a man who needs a woman and you're just a little girl. And apparently he thinks the same thing since he's been looking at Kikyo with lust. Besides it's not like you can compete with her. You are just a plain little ningen while Kikyo, at least she is rich, so it's easy for me to overlook her heritage." Yura sneered as she looked at Kagome's outfit. 'Even dressed in peasant clothing she's still beautiful! I can't wait to the look on her face when she realizes that her boyfriend is cheating on her.' She thought before leaving the classroom, her short hair bobbing as her very short skirt tried to do its job and cover up her ass. Her skintight tang top nearly forced her breast out of her top and it caused Kagome to feel sick at the sight of her as she looked into her overly made-up face. 'Yeah right, why would Inuyasha go to Kikyo. I mean just because we haven't had sex in a while it doesn't mean that he needs to go to other women for sex. He knows that we have to buckle down because winter break is coming and we need to study for our test!' Giving a small sigh she looked up to the sound of her flesh connecting to flesh and a shrill scream of "Hentai!" caused the remaining youkai to cringe and glare at the trio as they left the room quickly.
She looked at her two friends as they caused yet another scene and made more people hate them. 'But if I didn't have them then I would have' Her thought was caught off as she felt an arm slither around her waist before pulling her against a hard chest.
"Hey Kagome, have you broken up with Inu-koro yet?" Came a deep voice that sent shivers of disgust down her spine; which made her offender grin as he thought it was of pleasure. She looked into the icy depths of familiar eyes as she completed her thought, 'Koga.' Her mind groaned as she tried to release herself of his grip and unintentionally rubbed her backside against his crotch making him groan and pull her closer to his body and breathed in her scent. 'Mm, spring rain and moonflowers. Her scent is a perfect compliment of mine. She should be mine but Inu-koro got to her first and poisoned her mind against me. As soon as they break up I will be there for her to pick up the broken pieces.' He released her from his grasp and grabbed her hand before kissing it.
"Kagome just tell me that you want me and Inutrasha will be just a bitter memory. I promise that I will never make you miserable." He murmured against the soft skin of her hand. Feeling sickened she ripped her hand away from his mouth and laughed nervously.
"Um, that's ok Koga. But please try to call Inuyasha by his real name." She made out before grabbing the furious Sango and terrified Miroku and made their way to the cafeteria, leaving Koga to stand in the doorway and watch them leave. His gaze focused on the swaying of her ass he never noticed the lustful look Naraku gave her as he too watched her.
Inuyasha looked around the cafeteria before his golden eyes connected with familiar brown eyes and made his way to her. He stopped in front of Kikyo and was surprised at how much Kagome and Kikyo looked like. 'But Kikyo's different, her eyes are colder and she's used to getting her way. While Kagome, she has fun just being with her family and will protect them as well as she could. But Kikyo is so hot! I can tell she wants me from the way she staring but I'm with Kagome.' His mind tried to remind him as he took in her tight jeans and even tighter t-shirt. Her straight hair was in a messy bun and had rebellious tendrils clinging to her face making her seem innocent.
"Inuyasha come with me for a trip to paradise that I'm sure Kagome could never give you." Her sultry voice cut through his thoughts and without thinking of the impact his cheating would lead to he followed her out the cafeteria and to a nearby janitorial closet. Inuyasha didn't notice the same brown eyes he had been looking for earlier were watching as he and Kikyo made their way into the closet giggling and kissing each other, not ashamed of their actions to those who might be watching.
Kagome watched her boyfriend and his soon-to-be lover slip into the janitor's closet. Their hands roaming and searching for pleasurable spots before they disappeared into the closet and the door shut ominously, and to her it felt the closing of her heart. Sango and Miroku watched the proceedings with hate filled eyes as their friend hurt his girlfriend unknowingly and carelessly. Miroku noticed that Kagome had turned to them but her hair was hiding her eyes.
"Kagome lets go home. We don't have any classes left and it would be better if we left now instead of staying. Come on." He whispered gently before he and Sango wrapped their arms around their fragile friend and walked out of the building, much to the amusement of the popular youkai crowd.
"Oh, it looks like the bitch saw how loyal her little doggy is. How sad!" Yura laughed with her friends before they walked back into the cafeteria and planned a surprise for the depressed ningen who watched her boyfriend cheat on her. Kaguya paused and studied the way Kagome's friends comforted her. 'If that was me who saw my boyfriend cheat, would my friends even try to make me feel better? What am I thinking if I had caught my boyfriend cheating, which he wouldn't, I would kill him and not feel bad.' She thought before following her friends still not sure about her feelings.
Sango placed Kagome in the passenger seat before making Miroku follow them with her car so she wouldn't have to worry about any damage from the youkai who hated her friends. Giving her friend glances as she drove she felt her heart break at the picture she had created. Her face had splotches of red and her lips trembled as she tried to keep from sobbing as silent tears ran unchecked down her face. Her simple white shirt had become semi-transparent as her hands fisted themselves against her blue jeans. Her normally light brown eyes had darkened to a near black as her emotions showed themselves plainly in her face and body. She took her hand off the steering wheel and grabbed Kagome's left hand and held it tightly. Feeling Kagome's confused gaze she flashed her a quick smile before focusing on the road. She pulled up to the shrine and let go of Kagome's hand before cutting the engine. She made her way to the other side of the Toyota and saw her Mercedes pull up just as she pulled Kagome out of the car.
"Sango, why didn't you just take me to the apartment?" She strained to hear Kagome's whispered voice.
"Kagome you don't need to be reminded of Inuyasha and if I took you to your apartment you would've been." She soothed before she and Miroku helped Kagome make her way up the stairs.
Sango rang the doorbell and winced as she heard Kagome let out a small sob before she covered up her mouth and stifled the rest. The opened and they looked into the smiling face of Kagome's mother. Her expression quickly melted into worry as she took in her daughter's appearance. She looked at her daughter's friends and let the past her. She closed the door and rested her head against it as she smiled an ironic smile before walking into the kitchen to make some tea.
Miroku gently placed her onto the bed before pulling the covers up made sure she was comfortable.
"Kagome, I know that what Inuyasha did was wrong, but maybe you should talk to him about it." He calmly told her as he saw Sango whirl around and pin him with an incredulous stare.
"What? She should talk to him? No, she should break up with him! We all saw what he did and we know why he did it. He wanted some ass and so he went to Kikyo even though he's dating Kagome! And you're telling that she should talk to him about it?" She whispered fiercely before walking over to Kagome and giving her a hug.
"Kagome, I know you don't want to talk about so we're going to go home ok? Just call me or Miroku and we'll drop everything and come over for you ok?" Seeing Kagome's small nod they walked quietly out of the room and confronted her mother. They looked at her and saw how much her daughter looked like her. "Ms. Higurashi, the reason why Kagome is here is because she witnessed Inuyasha walking into the janitor's closet with another girl right in front of her. We couldn't bring to the apartment because you know that they were living together." Miroku told her before sitting down at the table and drank some of the tea.
"So it was that Tashio boy. I always knew he was trouble because of how he acted when Kagome brought him home. But I couldn't say anything because she was so happy with him. Besides what could I say? 'Kagome, I forbid you to see Inuyasha because I don't trust him?' I could never say that to her. She works hard but she just makes little mistakes from time to time. But I guess she's asleep, right?" She saw them nod and sighed.
"Thank you for taking her here and not to her apartment. She doesn't need to get hurt anymore right now." She got up and showed them out of the door and told him that once Kagome woke up she would call them. She sat at the table and stared at her reflection in her teacup. Her image became distorted as something fell into the cup. Reaching up Sora touched her cheeks and felt liquid coursing down her face before she buried her face into her hands and cried for her heartbroken daughter.
Kagome woke up and looked at the clock near her bed and saw that it was 6:36.
"Wow I was asleep for five hours. I'm going to take a shower." She spoke aloud as she made her way into her bathroom and grabbed some random clothes and underwear. She turned on her stereo and heard a message that made her pause.
"Hi Bobby, the song I want to request is Cold Hearted. It's for my friend Ayumi, she found out her boyfriend had cheated on her and saw him walk into a closet with her. I love you Ayumi, and don't worry you'll find someone better. That was Ayako requesting a song for her friend Ayumi." 'That is a little close for comfort.' She reached for the stereo, intending to turn it off when she heard the song start.

"That really sounds like him. He would always call me just to 'check up on me' while he was out with the 'boys'." She stepped into the shower and relaxed as the hot water started beating onto her tired body.

"Does he truly love me? I know that even though I caught him cheating on me I can't let him go. I love him too much." She started crying into the shower as she remembered all of the times he hurt her.

She stayed in the shower for a few more minuets before stepping out and drying herself off. She looked at her naked body in the mirror and tried to find something that would make Inuyasha cheat on her for. 'My hair isn't as straight as Kikyo's and my mouth isn't as red as hers but that's all I can find besides her being paler than me. But it's because she can't tan and it makes her look sickly.' She sighed before she put on her clothes and walked into her room. A new song was playing and she started dancing to the song 'Yurayura' by every little thing. She heard her cell phone ring and jump slightly in surprise before she picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Kagome." Her breath froze in her throat as she heard Inuyasha speak to her.
"Uh, Kagome you there?"
"Yeah, sorry. Buyo jumped on my stomach and knocked the breath out of me." Her sheepish reply was laughed at.
"I'm sorry Kagome. Hey, I wanted to know if you would come over to the apartment. I have to meet my family for dinner and they asked me to bring my girlfriend. So will you come?" He pleaded, and in her mind's eye she saw his puppy ears curl as he asked her.
"Sure." She sighed before hanging up after hearing him thank her. "Well, at least I know that he's taking me and not Kikyo. So maybe I still have a chance." She changed into a nice strapless lilac dress as she remembered Inuyasha telling that his family always wore nice clothing for family dinners together. Finding her 3" matching shoes she put her hair in an intricate design and left some tendrils cling to her face. She put on a little eye shadow and blush and sprayed a small amount of perfume on, remembering that demons have a stronger sense of smell than humans.
Kagome walked into the kitchen and saw her mom making dinner and felt her tears rise as the picture of serenity blurred in front of her. Her mom turned and jumped as she saw Kagome watching her with tears in her eyes as she wore a beautiful dress.
"Kagome, why are you dressed up and crying?" Sora asked, worried that something must have happened after she woke up. Kagome shook her head and sighed before trying to wipe the tears by dabbing at her eyes with a nearby tissue.
"Mom, I'm going to the apartment to go to Inuyasha's house so I can meet his family. I'm not sure when I'll be back but I thank you for your hospitality. Bye mom, I'll call you when I make it back to the apartment!" She yelled with false cheerfulness before walking out of the door. She paused at the well house and shivered as she felt a strange presence coming from it. She felt something furry touch her leg and let out a weak scream. She looked down and saw her overweight cat staring at her and purring.
"Buyo, it's you! Don't do that again you silly cat. Now go home." She shooed him away and continued walking down the shrine grounds and made her way downstairs quickly.
Kagome pulled up to the apartment and saw Inuyasha standing outside the complex waiting for her. She turned off the engine and unlocked her seatbelt while taking a few deep breaths before getting out of the car. After locking the door she calmly walked over to her boyfriend and noticed his eyes widened before they softened giving him a contented look. He cleared his throat and shook his head, trying to remove the blush that adorned his cheeks and made his hair swing freely. Kagome looked at the black suit that contrasted sharply against his amber eyes and white hair.
"You look handsome Inuyasha." She timidly told and felt her slightly broken heart beat strongly.
"Yeah, thanks. Come on we'll be late if we don't leave right now." He roughly grabbed her arm before pushing her into his black jaguar, making sure he wouldn't have to worry about getting embarrassed by riding around in her monstrosity of a car. The engine purred to life and rode easily against the slowly darkening streets of Tokyo.
"Hey Kagome, why weren't you at the apartment when I got home? Normally you either wait for me at the school or go to the apartment." He tried to break the overwhelming silence that wasn't normally there. Kagome just contented herself with looking out of the passenger window and ignored his question. Feeling annoyed and somewhat hurt he continued driving and didn't ask her any more questions.
Kagome felt her eyes widen as she took in the mansion they were pulling up to. He gave a small chuckle, as he smelt her amazement and apprehension rolling off her in waves.
"Don't worry, mom and dad will love you, Sesshomaru on the other hand, don't piss him off or he will kill you. Sorry but none of us are strong enough to keep him from killing anyone." He gave her a small glance and tried to give her a small smile of confidence but her back was still to him. He felt his mouth twist into a frown as she continued to blatantly ignore him. 'Maybe I shouldn't have brought her. I mean if she's going to ignore me the whole time what's the point. Maybe I should've brought Kikyo. No, what am I thinking? I'm still Kagome's boyfriend and she's my property. She belongs to me and no one else.' Kagome never even noticed how his eyes hardened slightly at his resolve. He stopped and allowed his door to opened by the valet and while Kagome was getting helped out of the car. As she moved away from the car she felt her mouth drop open at the majestic ness of the mansion and lawn. There were two pools leading up to the entrance of the Mansions five steps that went was covered by a lush red carpet. Looking into the pools there were black lined tiles with a variety of fresh water fish that were very exotic. Standing on both sides of the pools were angel fountains staring a giant inu youkai in his natural form. She took a closer look and saw a crescent moon carved into its forehead. The lush grass shimmered in the fading sun light giving it a sparkling glow as the house stood imposingly before her. In between the pools was a concrete path surrounded by snapdragons, scorpion orchids, passionflowers and many different flowers Kagome couldn't name or recognize. Kagome looked at the twin pillars that were on both sides of the doors that had clinging vines wrapping themselves decoratively against the pillars.
Before she could fully comprehend the beauty of the grounds and mansion she saw the great mahogany doors burst open and three elegantly dressed people and a clumsy toad made their way over to the frozen couple. A beautiful woman stepped away from the equally handsome men and walked to Inuyasha and pulled him into a hug.
"Oh my pup! You're finally home. And who is this? Is this the girl you've been telling us about? My son she's gorgeous. Why didn't you bring her here before now?" She questioned before giving Kagome a hug and squeezed her tightly. When she pulled back Kagome realized that couldn't possibly be human, she was too perfect. Her golden irises gazed at her underneath a curtain of silvery-blue hair while two maroon stripes on both cheeks highlight her high cheek bone and elegantly pointed nose, that was above a smiling mouth that showed delicately pointed teeth. Her cerulean dress hugged her form and made her seem like a goddess in disguise of a youkai. She turned her attention to the approaching males and noticed that while they were obviously father and son they look almost twin-like.
"Kagome this is my stepmother, Sayuri Tashio," She gave a small curtsy.
"My father, Sugumi Tashio," One of the males, who had his hair in a ponytail gave her an elegant bow.
"And the bastard standing beside my father is Sesshomaru Tashio." The second male identified as Sesshomaru gave a disdainful snort before turning away from them.
"Unlike you Inuyasha, I wasn't born out of wedlock. So you are the bastard." He sneered before walking back into the mansion ignoring the squawking of the toad youkai that was following him.
"Please don't mind him, he really hadn't liked Inuyasha's mother and took to her harshly and now thinks that all humans are beneath him. I'm terribly sorry for his behavior and I just want you to know that not all demons are like that. But of course you would know that since your dating my pup." She smiled and blushed prettily before following Kagome and Inuyasha into the mansion. Sayuri and Sugumi trailed behind them and watched how Kagome kind of shied away from Inuyasha's touch.
"Sugumi, did you notice that horrid smell on Inuyasha? I know that's not Kagome's because she smells so nice. Do you think something happened between them and that could be the reason she's dodging his touch?" She whispered into his ear while turning a concerned eye on Kagome.
"It's none of our business, let's just try to make this night less stressful as possible because it seems like Sesshomaru is in asshole mode tonight." He murmured back before getting a playful slap on his arm by his beautiful mate.
So what do you guys think? I know a little different from how I normally write my stories but it just hit me and I realized that had to do this. Also I got a flame on my story "Because you Loved me" on adult fan fiction by a girl named Kinnara because she didn't like how I had Sessho masturbate. She said that it was the worst Hentai story she had ever read and I was going to hell. Kinnara I'm terribly sorry that you thought my story was the worst Hentai story you have ever read. *Points at her sentence* you see that? That's what you call sarcasm. While I am sorry that you didn't like my story it wasn't meant to interest you apparently because you didn't like it. To me you didn't even need to finish reading the story if you that it was stupid. But that one tiny little flame doesn't hurt my feelings because I know that a lot of other people truly like it. So you guys know what to do! Read, Rate and Review. Ja Ne!
