SUMMER'S DAY

CHAPTER ONE: SUMMER'S DAY

I did not hear anything but the sounds of the beautiful blossom dancing with the winds, finding its destination on the soft ground. I did not see anything but the brightest light reflecting from the yellow star above, giving every child of nature, life and strength. I did not dare to speak for I may interrupt the beauty of it all.

Beauty and perfection, those are the two words I find are most important to me, no matter what they are, in object or in person. Considering the surrounding I am standing on, describes both beauty and perfection.

The greenest of grass and the softest of scent, the land was breathing a life of its own. Flower beds had covered the far east of the land giving more beauty in which it already has. Each flower holds different exquisite shades of the rainbow, from even a mixture of one. Each giving off a scent to differ itself from one another. The aroma of it all made it to be heaven.

In the middle of this beauty, lies the perfect home. A large two story house with white concrete walls, silver rooftops different shapes of windows, and balconies on the second level with spectacular circular staircases leading down to ground. Bushes of maze far off in the left corner of the land leading somewhere but nowhere and more flowers everywhere.

Higher of the ground, following the well patterned steps, held the hottest of springs, surrounded by marsh blooms and finest stones. Behind those springs, stands the tallest of many trees, in varied length and width. Different creatures can be heard amongst it, singing and dancing, enjoying themselves in where they have chosen to be there home.

Deeper in the forest and past those trees, hold the most startling sight ever. Waterfalls diving to the bottom of the crystal blue water. More cherry blossoms adding to the touch of a startling touch. It was perfect and beautiful.

"So what do you think Mr, Inoue? This is what I was telling you about and it is the best we have."

"It is acceptable, Mr. Higurashi."

"Fantastic I knew this was up to your standards. Now lets move on to the paperwork."

"Hmm"

As I turn to make leave to Mr. Higurashi's vehicle, too caught up with my surroundings, that I did not notice one raven haired little creature possessing one of my fingers. I looked down from my level to see whom it was, a little girl about the age of 3 or 4 fondling with my fingers.

'How cute was this creature finding my fingers fascinating to there person.'

I decided to clear my throat to get the little girl's attention and that was when she looked up to me with here little cute face and those yet so familiar sapphire blue orbs.

'I've seen those eyes before but where?'

Then she smiled and handed me a bunch of flowers with her other hand while still keeping a hold on my fingers.

'Now where did I see these flowers from?'

I then looked over my shoulder to the beautiful land, 'Ah, when did she picked it?'

Before I had the time to think more of it, I was interrupted with a female's voice.

"Kagomeee "

'Kagome, I've heard that name somewhere, but where?'

'Already, this child is making me think, in which, I do not like thinking.'

"Honey Is that you, my dear Kaoru?" I heard Mr. Higurashi saying from his vehicle, a good distance away. It seems he had continued walking while I was being occupied by this little one.

"Yes Hitomi it's me, and I brought little Gome along. She wanted to come by and see this place again, she loves it too much but it seems I've lost her." Panic clearly shown own her face.

"Now, now, it's alright Kaoru, my dear, I'm sure she's probably near the flowers somewhere. We'll look for her together. I'm sure Mr. Sesshomaru Inoue would not mind if we take up a little of his time looking for our little Gome. Ah Speaking of Mr, Inoue, I forgotten all about him "

"Mr. Sesshomaru Inoue, you say?"

"Yes he is one of my client and he will soon be the owner of this place."

"He will?"

"Yes, and he's right over there ... and it seems our little Gome has made a new friend."
