Chapter 1: You ...Left Me

"No!" Kagome screamed, ripping herself from Inuyasha's grasp. "Please! Just leave me alone!"

"Kagome, I'm sorry! I swear it won't happen again. Kikyou and I are through. I swear" Inuyasha pleaded with those golden eyes.

Not this again. Please anything but this. Kagome asked herself. Why can't he just let me go? Doesn't he understand? I love him, but I can't take anymore of this. I can't torture myself anymore. Please Inuyasha just let me-

"Kagome I can't let you go."

Kagome ran before her resolution dissolved entirely. She had just come to say goodbye; she wasn't even planning to leave for good. But then she stumbled onto Kikyou and Inuyasha's tender embrace. Kagome was sick of it. And the pile of clothes that was forming nearby only gave her more insight to their intentions. She wasn't an idiot, she was a hopeless romantic.

It had been 4 months since Naruku's defeat, and she had stayed. Kagome had gone home for some clothes here and there, but she had meant to stay with Inuyasha. She couldn't any longer, though. The pain and anguish that would come with just turning away was nothing compared to the one-sided relationship she had now. Kagome was supposed to be gorgeous, right? She could find someone in her time. Someone who actually cared about her and valued her. Someone who didn't have PMS.

So she kept running. Don't turn around. Just keep running and you'll be free. Sango and Shippo will understand. And you'll be one less girl for Miruko to grope. Even when pounding feet could be heard, Kagome ran for the well. Wait Inuyasha wouldn't be on foot... It hit her. That isn't Inuyasha. And there is more than one.

The Well was visible though the forest now. A few more feet and Kagome would be safe from what ever cretin felt she couldn't be left alone.

A few more feet. Then you'll be back with Souto and Mama. A few more feet and this will all be behind you. You can forget about the Jewel, The Feudal Era, About that cruel Hanyu. About everythi-

"Hey there Missy." A gruff, sinister voice drawled. "Where one earth could you be going in such a hurry?" Thick arms encircled her waist, yanking her off the ground. Gasping in shock, Kagome turned to she who dared to snatch her up. The sight before her stole what little breath she had left. At least 5 burley men had formed a semi-circle around her. In the distance, more were catching up. They seemed to be slowed down by Wagons of something. The men around her had chains, and ropes. It suddenly became real. These weren't just bandits or a group of uncouth men; these were slave traders. And those weren't wagons full of supplies; there were full of girls, probably just like her.

"No!" Kagome Screeched, realizing what was happening. "Let me go! HELP! Anyone! PLEASE! HELP ME!"

In the distance Inuyasha heard her screams.

Serves her right... Kuga probably came back for her. It's not like she wants me to help... Stupid bitch. Let Kuga take her. I don't want that human anymore.

He walked away, blocking out the pleas for help, Leaving Kagome to defend herself. Abandoning the poor heartbroken miko, leaving her to the hands of slave-traders.
