Summary: This isn't all lovey dovey Kagome Sesshomaru fanfic. He doesn't instantly fall in love with kagome, neither loves each other. And the requirements say that they have to be at least friends, besides I might do a sequel to this, because they are on their way in falling in love. Oh yeah and this is also, as far as this a one shot. Enjoy ^_^

The crunch of snow made her turn around with an "Eep!" She had not been expecting the arrival of anyone, not when she was angry like this. She had practically killed the surrounding area with some of her purifying bows.

Several hours ago the baka Inuyasha, who had made her angry, of course who else? He had sent her into a furious rage. Her friend's knew better than to bug her when she was in this state.

Meaning one thing, it wasn't her friend.

Reaching up slowly for the bow and arrows safely tucked on her back, she warned whoever it was behind her, "Do not take a step closer."

It stepped forward, or backward she couldn't be sure, but she acted purely from instinct, and flung herself down onto the snow covered ground and drew out an arrow, poised to let go.

Standing behind her, much to her surprise was Sesshomaru, one of the newly added members to her little group. He also wished to defeat Naraku, and considering he still somewhat acknowledged Inuyasha as his 'little' brother, he had no trouble entering the group, but he didn't seem to have any trouble becoming group leader either.

Laughing at her own stiffness, she stood. On the plus side for her day was she had somehow managed to cover a very proud taiyoukai in snow from head to toe, that had to be a world record. Besides, she wasn't dead, now was she?

"I fail to see what is so humorous." Kagome only shook her head and brushed past him in an attempt to make it back to camp before something actually did attack...

Before she turned a snowball came flying and hit her face. Turning red, she picked up another snowball, and readied herself for his next move.

For a moment Sesshomaru disappeared from her line of vision, only to reappear in front of her. 'Perfect.' She had been hoping he would do this, he had done it the first time they had met, and it left plenty of ideas on what to use as an attack strategy.

With his legs spread, she ducked between them and pulled up behind him, pulling the back of his collar open, she dumped the snow ball in, and ran.

Watching him shimmy may have been on of the funniest moment in her exciting life.

She couldn't keep the laughter in and in seconds her laughter was booming throughout the clearing. He growled playfully, and pounced on her. She gasped and wiggled trying to free herself.

"I give!" She gasped for breath as he tickled her, something she never expected from the great lord Sesshomaru, but hey, there's a first for everything right?

She smiled as he rolled over, both their faces where red from the frost. She jumped up as fast as her body would allow her too. Rushing to the wooded area, Kagome hid behind a tree, and covered her scent.

She smothered a giggle when she noticed him sniffing the air, and turning up with nothing. "Oh, so that's how you're going to play are you?"

He disappeared once again, and she vaguely saw white moving, although who could tell when everything was white?

"Gotcha ya!" She screamed and ducked for the ground, him going along with her. He had wrapped his arms around her as they fell.

"Well, you're special." Kagome said, spitting up snow. She pushed him back into the snow as he tried to get up. He gave a small yelp, and she was off again.

Following again, she sped off, of course a human's speed is nothing compared to a demon's speed, but Sesshomaru loved the game, Cat and Mouse. So, whenever he neared Kagome, he let her get farther away, but as we all know, cats get hungry.

He ounce don her yet again, and she shrieked before falling into fits of laughter as she and him lay in the snow. "I never knew you were this fun Sesshomaru."

He smirked and pushed her into the snow, "HEY! You can't take my tricks!" Kagome brushed the snow off and turned away from him, pouting.

"KAGOME!" Said girl sighed as Inuyasha's voice broke through the forest. "Well, we better go."

Kagome, annoyed once again, got up and walked with Sesshomaru to camp.

She and him walked, no talking. She assumed he wouldn't want her to talk about their game, so once they entered camp, separate of course, she kept her mouth shut saying that she just needed some time alone.

What confused the poor girl was that when Inuyasha tried to apologize she only said it's ok, and sat down, ignoring him for the rest of the night.

That night she slept near Sesshomaru, with Rin wrapped in a small ball next to her. She pulled the young girl into her sleeping bag, warming her.

"Wake up wench." Kagome mumbled a "Sit," When Inuyasha's voice was the one to wake her in the morning.

"Inuyasha leave her alone, she wishes to sleep, and my ward is with her." Sesshomaru's warning was clear, wake her again without my permission and you'll be the one without the arm.

Rin turned in her sleep, and Kagome for once was thankful that Sesshomaru was the one who had taken over. Although, that didn't last long when Sesshomaru put them on his cloud to travel. She sat up so fast that Rin almost woke up, and she was a heavy sleeper.

"I think I may have forgotten to mention that I'm afraid of heights...." Kagome said somewhat frantically.

"Hmm." Was all his reply included, that and a simple glance towards Kagome.

She turned away from him in a huff. "Then I suggest you don't look down."

Turning slightly she saw him smiling lightly at her, she smacked his arm playfully, and kicked his 'loyal' servant Jakken away and she moved to sit next to him, not caring that Inuyasha, Sango, Shippo, Miroku, and even Rin were watching the couple sit there chatting like friends while the wind rushed past them.

Sesshomaru: I agree.

I didn't ask you though, in fact I didn't ask anything!

Sesshomaru: I am Sesshomaru, you don't have to ask, I say what I want.

Stuck up arrogant *three hours later* conniving bastard.

Kagome: Well, I guess if you try hard enough, you can come up with enough names for just about anyone...

Oh yeah, I might make a sequel as I said before for this, but I need reviews, they keep me sane!!!!!!

And I know I said I was going to keep working on this, but for some reason this popped into my head earlier and well yeah, it wouldn't leave me alone! So rate and review!

Author's note: Yes I know Sesshy is a little OOC but I couldn't help it, I had to use that sexy man, lol well I saw the nominations, *sigh* I'm not good enough for that, anyway I changed some of it because I thought it was waaaay to short for my tastes, also I thought the ending was to sudden and I'm starting the sequel not on this but on Mi Amor, a preview I would add, but what would the fun be in that? It might not sound like "Mi Amor" of course because as you know I'm still growing and I'm also still developing my language and writing skills. So, I have matured by far since my very first story which I started almost a year from now. My one year anniversary is coming up! It's a miracle, usually I never stick with one thing for more than a week or so. So, congratulate me! I found something I absolutely adore!!!!!!
