Chapter 1

Something New

DIF: First Inu fic. Flames will be given to my oldest sister to deal

with.

She is Satan if he was a woman. Which is Satan x 2.

DFF: You talk too much. Why not give the flames to me I could turn them into Popsicles and your sister would never stick up for you. She's a cold satanic

bitch that could give me shivers, and that's say'n somethin.

DIF: You've got a point Ice; OUR sister would never stick up for US.

DFF: I've always got a point, and I'm always right.

DIF: Riiiiggghhtt. That's why you were right about Tash. * Mumbles that under breath* I swear you are a clone of Tash times twenty. Now I do

not own Kagome, Shippo, Ki....

DFF: Dragon Ice Fairy does not own these characters and never will, end of story. Truly this is the end of the story.

DIF: No it's not. There's a little OOCness but it's under standable for the situation, so now on with the story

Kagome's POV

"That bastard!" I cried. "He said he loved me just to keep his shard detector." I finally stopped running and sat by a tree. I kept crying and mumbling about how much of a bastard Inuyasha was, then cried myself to sleep.

"Why did you tell that little bitch you love her?" The woman viciously spat out.

"I need her for the jewel shards. After that we can get your soul back Kikyo." Then he kissed Kikyo passionately.

After Kikyo left he sniffed the air and smelled salty tears. He turned and looked at me, noticing me for the first time.

"K-Kag-gome I-I..." He stumbled out.

"You bastard... You mother fuck'n bastard." I quietly interjected, knowing he heard me. "YOU LITTLE FUCKER! YOU DISERVE WORSE THAN HELL. THERE IS NO FORGIVING WHAT YOU DID! I GAVE YOU NO REASON FOR IT! ALL I'VE DONE WAS ACCEPT YOU FOR WHO AND WHAT YOU ARE, AND THEN LOVE YOU FOR IT! YOU WERE ALL I HAD LEFT."I screamed at him.

"Kagome it's not what it looks like."

I ran off, clutching the completed jewel in my hand. He didn't know it was completed and he never would. I ran and ran and ran. But no matter how far I ran I could still here someone calling my name.

Shippo's POV

"Momma! Momma!"

"Mew."

"Momma!"

SHHHHHHH! The little cat turned into a 14 year old girl hushed.

"Shippo let her sleep she's had a hard day. Remember the only reason we're here is because of her yelling. We got sleep she didn't and she was running all night."

"So it was a good idea to have hidden in her bag when she grabbed it?"

I asked.

"Yes we need to protect her from Inuyasha. If we had followed her we would have lost her then passed her right by," Answered Kirara. "Now turn into your fox form."

"Ok. Why do I need to be in my fox form?"

"You're going to be a blanket I'm going to be a pillow. Keep her warm until I come back with fire wood." With that she left.

15 minutes later Kirara came back with a large pile of wood. She built a ring with rocks. Then she started a fire with her element, and I helped her with my foxfire, so we ended up with a purple fire. After we started the fire I went back to my mom. Kirara left again then came back again 10 minutes later with two skinned rabbits, remembering that mom hated seeing any thing with more than just the meat of any thing that was once alive, and started to cook them.

Kirara's POV

I grabbed the yellow bag Kagome took with her everywhere with her, and pulled out the cooking supplies. I boiled half of one rabbit, and roasted the other half. Then I smoked the other rabbit, so we could have a something to snack on while we were traveling.

Right when the food was almost done Kagome started to stir.

"Kirara I think momma is awake."

"Shippo is that you?"

"Yeah! I'm the fluffy fur ball keeping you warm."

"Shippo I didn't know you could be in you fox form. And I definitely know you didn't have three tails."

"I 'm stronger than I let on."

"Obviously. Who else is here?"

"Just me and Kirara."

"Where's Kirara, and who's that woman?" "That's Kirara."

"I remembered that I had a humanoid form."

I knew I looked odd. One I had pale yellow hair with black streaks. Two, I had that black diamond on my forehead. I also had two pale yellow tails with a black ring on each. To wrap it all up I had red eyes with slits like the cat I am. All in all I was not the person some one would want to meet when they were lost and scared and even slightly scared of demons.

"I can see that now. You know that if people knew you they could see that you're not that scary, but actually quite beautiful."

"Why thank you. But while we're on the subject we need to make Shippo look different, because Inuyasha will be coming after us."

"Ok we can go back to my time for a bit. We can get him a hair cut, and get him some new clothes... Wouldn't Inuyasha recognize me as well?"

"Go look at your self in the stream."

Kagome's POV

I got up and went to the stream. The first thing I noticed was my chocolate brown eyes were no longer brown; they were a gray stormy blue color. My bangs were now gown to my chin, were parted to the left, and were blue. The last thing I noticed, due to the fact it was dark out, was that my ears were now pointed. That's all I could tell from the water so I stood up and found that my hair was an extremely black color and came down to my waist.

I inhaled through my nose slowly. I could smell the river, the forest, and camp near by. Kirara had the smell of cinnamon and ginger. Shippo smelled of apples and sugar. I could smell the animals and plants in the forest, and I could smell a very pissed off hanyou coming this way.

As I ran into camp I sprayed water from my hand on to the fire and put the fire out.

"Kirara grab my bag and supplies. Shippo change into your fox form and come here. We need to make a run for it other wise we'll have a confrontation with a very angry hanyou."

We had just entered the clearing of the well and we could hear him behind us. Wow we've been running for a few hours now. I'm not tired and he only started catching up when we slowed down. I thought. Then there was Sesshoumaru standing in front of the well. So we stopped so I didn't run into him. Oh great now we have to deal with 'Commodore Fluff ball and the I-never-take-a-bath half-breed... whoa where'd that come from.'

"What are you doing on my lands?" Sesshomaru asked

"We're trying to get home." I said calmly.

"Why do you smell like my friends?" Inuyasha asked

"How should we know? Did you ever think that they might have relatives?"

"No."

"Wench, why can't I identify your smell? Are you a half-breed hiding your sent?" Sesshomaru Calmly stated more then asked

"What did you call me?" I whispered dangerously. I may have been 20 ft. away from the Taiyoukai, but he heard me clear as day. You could tell he heard me by the way he shivered at my cold tone. "My race is called The Elfish.

Get it strait you self absorbed TAI. I'm half Water elf half Ice elf."

"Momma how'd you know that?"

"Let's just say I'm starting to remember."

"Wait I know that voice... Shippo?" Inuyasha asked very slowly.

"Nooo. I'm his second cousin. If we're talking about the same Shippo

here."

"Wow somebody's very comprehensive." Kirara said sarcastically.

"Shut up!" roared Inuyasha.

"Ok, let me rephrase that. Wow some people are dull, namely Inus." Kirara said tauntingly.

"SHUT UP!" Roared the brothers.

'They are so much alike even though I've been gone 190 years. There's another subconscious memory.' I mentally groaned.

"Kila don't aggravate them. We don't need a fight." I said half consciously.

"Yes ma'am."

"Why do you listen to the hanyou, Neko?"

"That's because I'm an ELF. PURE ELF," I said agitated

"Elves are fairy tales."

I then turned to look at Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru's eyes got a little bit bigger when he saw my ears in the early morning light.

"So Inuyasha what do you think? Are elves real or just fairy tails?"

"I've met an elf before so I know they're real," He said with up most cockiness.

"Good. Shipp, Kila come here we're leaving. Good-Bye Yash and Good-Bye Commodore Fluff ball." And with that we disappeared. We just went down the well.

Inuyasha's POV

"So Sesshoumaru #1) Why so quiet? #2) Why'd you say elves aren't real? And #3) Why'd you let her call you Commodore Fluff ball? Only one person could call you that."

"I said elves weren't real because many demons try to say they're Dark Elves. I'm quiet and let her call me that, because she was that one person." He spoke with the more harshness than when he kicked me out.

As I walked back out of the clearing I looked back to see if he was ok.

He was gone already.

When I got close enough to camp I saw Sango and Miroku sitting by a rejuvenated fire very alert. I took a deep breath and sighed. Then I walked in to camp and got tackled by Sango.

"Where's Kagome, Shippo, and Kirara?" asked Sango obviously angry and worried.

"They're fine. Shippo and Kirara are with Kagome who went back to her time." I said quietly.

"Why so quiet? Have a run in with some one?" Miroku for once was completely serious.

"Yeah Sesshoumaru and I just ran into an old friend. It seemed that she only slightly remembers us. It hurt actually, that she forgot us and all.

"Her memory would have been right on track if that baka Jaken had been there. She hated him more than she liked all of her friends put together.

"She used to make Sesshoumaru laugh and smile after his mom died. She kept him carefree and lighthearted, well as much as he could be. She kept me an innocent, nice, and happy hanyou after my mother died. She was the last thing that held our family together. When she disappeared our small cracked family shattered.

"After a month had passed Sesshoumaru started to blame me for the disappearance of his 1st officer and best friend. He didn't just up and kick me out like you might think. He just slowly started to become cold and distant. He became the way he is today about a year after she disappeared. All I did was ask him where she was and why she hadn't come back yet and he yelled at me to leave and not come back. So I did.

"When Sesshoumaru and I met today we didn't try to kill each other we barley even noticed each other. When she left Sesshoumaru was colder than ever and he had lightened up to. "I now remember why I love Kagome as a sister. It's because she reminds me of Her."

"What's Her name?" Miroku said as a sly grin played across his face, so I hit him.

"What was she?" said Sango glaring at a swirly eyed Miroku.

"All we knew was that she could control ice, water, and light and dark miko powers. She could also change into a white wolf, with light gray paws and ear tips, at will. Now we know that she's an elf. She had her powers and her emotions completely under check. Sometimes when we were traveling she would use her wolf form to keep us warm.

"She was a master of hand to hand and weaponry also and she had mastered those before Sesshoumaru mastered the sword and his powers.

"H-h-her-r-r n-n-name wa-a-as-s... sigh... Hika."

"I've heard of her. My village elders said she had a pure soul that matched or was even more pure than Midoriko's. She was actually born only a few years after Midoriko died."

"The monks say that long ago there had been an elf named Hika and a demon whose name was unknown in love but their love was not accepted, but they vowed to always be together. So some one murdered them.

"Oddly enough a race that called them selves Dark elves became known a few months after the two were murdered. Dark elves are half elf half demon."

"That's sad. Oh I hope Kagome's ok," Whispered Sango.

"She will be," Said Miroku comfortingly.

That's when I saw Miroku's hand start wandering. Sango saw this out of the corner of her eye, so I didn't need to warn her.

SLAP! "HENTAI!" Now Miroku was unconscious on the ground.

DIF: That was the first chapter. Please tell me if you liked it. TTFN!
