Kagome was with the group watching the fire flicker. She looked around to see her conpanions doing thier usual doings. Shippo murmured in his sleep quietly. Miroku was doing his groping session with Sango hitting him with her giant Boomerang. Kagome looked up at Inu Yasha to see him staring at the stars.

She got up."Ill go take a splash, Sango can you watch the men please?" Sango nodded in response.

Kagome walked through the forest to see a lake in time. She sat restfully on the bank and took off her shoes and socks. Kagome took a deep breath and let her feet feel the cool water, she once again looked at the star filled sky in deep thought.

'Why is it that im useless? Why is it that my life was to find these shards? Why am I stuck in another time loving a hanyou who thinks im a shard detecter and a rencarnation of his love?' Kagome had felt a tear sliding down her cheek but didnt stop to wipe it away. In turn more came down her cheeks and dropping into the lake causing ripples. Kagome looked at her reflection blurringly. She saw a girl with raven hair looking like an old miko. She splashed the water to get rid or her reflection. As the ripples slowly returned to calm water. Slowly she saw not a recarnation but a woman. In fright she took her dainty feet out of the water and turned around hastly. She saw nothing.

'Who was that?' her thoughts were answered by a womanly voice. "I am you." Kagome felt a rush of pain and darkness. She woke up in a blank world, all pitch black nothing it was just her, thats what she thought. She stood up gazing at nothing until she saw two blue friendly eyes staring at her.

"Hi Kagome." it was like staring at a mirror. Kagome just stood frozen."Who are you what do you want from me?" Kagome was now fearing for her sake. " Do not worry i will not hurt you, besides it would be like hurting me." Kagome was still stunned.'What does she mean by it would be hurting herself?' "You know what? I can read your thoughts or more like reading mine actually."

"This is wierd. Who are you and what am I doing here?" The Kagme -look-alike smiled again "First of all im you I told you that already or more likely to myself that is. Anyway Im you, you and I are one person exept I have power while the other side of me doesnt, that would be you." The Kagome-look-alike pointed a finger at the real Kagome. "Second we are in your-er- our deepest thoughts. I think of somthing deep and it happens here try it." Kagome was still confused while tthe look alike gave a sigh."Think of anything of your past expirience." Kagome did so.

Suddenly thier suroundings changed it was a forest. Kagome realized it was 'Inu Yasha Forest?'

"Yes Kagome its Inu Yasha's forest. How about ill explain later?" Before Kagome could say any thing she was once again in the lonely desserted blackness.

"What is going on!?" Kagome yelled itno the empty blackness. No response came.........
