The perfect couple.

Kagome was downstaires eating her breakfast quietly as the phone began to ring. Kagome got out of her chair and walked to the phone, picking it up and placing it near her ear. ''Hello?'' Kagome answered the phone with a polite, sweet sounding voice. ''Oh my god! Kagome! I just found out that.. Sesshoumaru likes you! He likes you!'' The girl on the other end of the phone had happened to be Sango, Kagome's good friend. Kagome squeeled, jumping up and down. She loved Sesshoumaru. He was muscular, handsome, sweet, anything a teenage girl could ask for. ''Who told you he liked me?!'' Kagome urged. ''Well, Inuyasha was talking to him last night on the phone, and Sesshoumaru told him, that he'd probably take you out one of these days.'' Sango screamed into the phone loudly. Kagome let out a huge quiver of joy. ''Okay, we'll talk more about this at school. I have to go now, Bye!'' Kagome hung up the phone, then grabbed her backpack by the arm strap. She walked outside her house and stood near the bus stop, waiting for her school bus, of course.

The bus stopped right beside Kagome, opening the doors. There in the front row of the bus seats, sat a very handsome Sesshoumaru, his silver hair covered one side of his face, as the other side was shown. Kagome stepped inside the bus, noticing there were no empty seats. All of the sudden, Sesshoumaru patted the seat beside himself, making a head motion for Kagome to sit with him. Kagome studdered a bit before seating herself next to Sesshoumaru. ''Hey, there, Kagome.'' Sesshoumaru said calmly. Kagome tried to speak but the words just wouldn't come out. ''H..H..H-Hi!'' She blurted out loudly. Sesshoumaru chuckled as Kagome sank into her seat, slightly embarrassed. She put her books in front of her face. ''I.. It's the morning.. thing, it makes me nervous about school?'' She nodded.

Sesshoumaru rubbed the back of his head, shifting his golden colored eyes down at the girl. ''Yeah, well, that same thing happens to me at times.. Only when I'm sitting next to a pretty girl.'' He turned his head back towards the window. Kagome sat up straight, biting her lower lip. ''R-really?''

Sesshoumaru nodded his head, ''Really.''

Kagome's cheeks turned a light red as the bus came to a stop, the driver yelling. ''Come on! Out of the bus, I need to get my break!''

The kids in the bus ran out quickly. Kagome and Sesshoumaru walked at a slow pace, both of them looking at the ground. When they were getting near the front doors of the school, Sesshoumaru grasped Kagome's hand in his, keeping his head lowered. Kagome stared at their hands, beginning to shiver excitedly.

They got to the doors, Sesshoumaru let his grip loosen, letting his hand go of Kagome's. Kagome then ran to her locker which was next to Sango's.

Sango was standing in front of her locker, rummeging through it. ''Sango!! Sango!!'' Kagome screamed loudly through the hallways, making her way to Sango. ''What?!'' Sango shouted. Kagome tried to catch her breath as she heaved, patting her chest. ''Calm down, Kagome. Calm down.. What is it?'' Kagome stopped breathing heavily then looked up at Sango, a rather large smile appearing on her face. ''Sesshoumaru.. Held.. My hand..'' She whispered. Sango dropped her books suddenly, staring at Kagome, her jaw dropping. ''He what?!?!?!?!'' Sango grabbed onto Kagome's hand, jumping up and down. Kagome began to jump up and down as well, they both squeeled together happily.

Sesshoumaru came up behind the girls, a nervous look set on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck. ''Uh.. May I.. have a minute with Kagome?'' Sesshoumaru asked shylie. Sango smiled at Kagome, waving her hand as she walked to her class.

Kagome looked at Sesshoumaru, a slight smile on her face. ''Um, yes?'' She couldn't help but smile her largest. Sesshoumaru let out a deep sigh. ''I.. Was wondering, if you would like to.. Um, go out with me..?'' Sesshoumaru asked sweetly, his cheeks a slight pink. Kagome's eyes widened as she blurted out. ''Yes! I will! I mean.. Yeah, sure, that's cool.'' Kagome coughed. Sesshoumaru looked extremly happy, placing a light kiss on Kagome's cheeks. ''Great! I'll pick you up at eight!'' Sesshoumaru ran off suddenly.

Kagome touched her cheek gently, her cheeks turning a deep, deep red.
