The Lost Life

Kagome ran into the forest, her heart pounding, her eyes filled with tears. She felt as if her whole life was torn apart from her. Inuyasha had declaired his love for Kikyo, and it was right in frount of Kagome. He said that Kikyo ment more to him then anyone in the world, and no one would stand between them. Kagome ran faster, not stoping to look where she was. All she cared about was to get as far away from Inuyasha as possible. But just as she looked back she triped over a log and started to stumble down a hill. Kagome keep rolling, till she hit a tree and bumped her head. She layed there for awhile trying to ponder where she was. Everything around her was spinning, and going darker every time she tryed to move. Tears ran down her face, as the thoughts of Inuyasha and Kikyo came rushing tword her.

Near by Sesshoumaru had just finshed cleaning off his sword. He had just killed a demon that Naraku sent after him. He sat by a lake full of cold water, and a long vast waterfall flowing rapedly. He soon noticed a fermilier sent past through the air. He looked around but didn't see anyone. Then he seathed the sword, and started to walked around, hoping he would find who was there. Sesshoumaru walked for awhile looking almost everywhere, the sent got stronger, he started to realize who it was.

He soon came up to a clearing in the forest, and saw who appered to be the human that Inuyasha always had by his side, everytime he had fought with him. Kagome rubbed her head, and slowly tryed to get up, but fell back down on one knee. She noticed a figure comeing tword her. It was graceful and calm, much like....she had easly figured out who it was. She mannaged to speek.....''S...Sesshoumaru...if that is you...''that is all she mannaged to get out, coughing at the last word she had said. Sesshoumaru slowly walked up to Kagome, and knelt in frount of her. ''What are you doing here wrench, aren't you sapost to be with my half demon brother?''he looked at her eyes, seeing pain and anger.

She didn't look at him but answered dispite who he was. ''Inuyasha's a fool, I'm no longer travling with him.....if you wish to kill me, then go ahead, i'm not going to run.''her eyes filled with tears, and her whole body was going numb. But just before Sesshoumaru had a chance to speek, Kagome fell and colaped in his arms. She didn't move and was hardly breathing. Blood ran down the side of her face from the cut she got when she bumped her head on the tree. Sesshoumaru had felt some sort of feeling inside of him that he had never felt before. He had seen the great pain she was in and the anger that inflamed her completely. He felt sorry for her, and was willing to help her. So he picked her up and started to walk tword his casle, caring her in his arms.
