Kagome had began wondering through the forest hours ago and had seen the most devastating scene sure she had seen it before but this was worse it hurt more than ever. Kagome didn't know why it hurt more this time it was the same as last time. Kagome had run away from the scene sobbing not caring where she went as long as it wasn't near Inuyasha.

Hours must of past as Kagome realized, as her sobbing subsided, that the sun was coming up and when she left camp it had been sunset. Then Kagome slumped down a tree and began crying all over again. Suddenly Kagome felt herself being pulled into a black hole, a place full of nothing no emotions no pain just black, the darkness is what frightened her though it was so dark not even a demon's magnificent eyes could adjust it was as if it was black with no light in it or did light ever reach this one spot? It was peaceful and Kagome began liking it her fear ebbing away.

'Love isn't here, pain can't happen again!' Kagome thought

Settling in, Kagome's friends and family's faces began appearing right before her eyes, 'Souta, Mama, Gramps, Sango, Miroku, Shippo no I will stay living and be happy for my family and for my son Inuyasha broke my heart but that doesn't mean my life is ruined!' Kagome thought feeling all the warmth chase away he cold felling that had taken over her heart.

The warmth took over and dragged her to the surface, into the light, Kagome felt as if she was being reborn as she opened her eyes and blinked a few times Rejoicing for returning Kagome realized she wasn't in the forest anymore she was in Kaede's hut.

Kagome bolted up, looking around wondering if anyone but her is in here, then she spots Inuyasha leaning on the wall with a worried expression as if pondering something important that is really bothering him.

Turning to look at Kagome when she bolted up, Inuyasha's face now spread with a happy boyish grin.

"Kagome your awake yeah I'll get Shippo after you ahh..." Inuyasha began but was unable to finish as he hugged Kagome

"Inuyasha um how did I get here?" Kagome asked not hugging back.

Inuyasha must have noticed since he pulled back and stared at her wondering something that Kagome could not read. The effects of Kagome's trip was still on her telling her that she should be cold and mean or emotionless but all this was confusing her luckily for her hearts warmth returned again this time having her smile and act polite just like her instincts and her nature was destined to be.

Kagome smiled up at Inuyasha who smiled back not realizing Kagome wasn't really smiling at him it was a lie kind of smile but Inuyasha was so relieved that he didn't realize how fake it was.

"Kagome well maybe the person who saved you should tell you" Inuyasha replied before leaving the hut.

As soon as Inuyasha walked out the most surprising person walked in, Sesshomaru.

"I see your awake now good, there is a few things I need to know about you is this fine with you Kagome?" Sesshomaru said really polite surprising Kagome even more.

"Yes Sesshomaru. Whatever you want to know I'll tell you." Kagome replied trying to mask her surprise and to have a stoic expression on here face like Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru began touching the stump on or where his left arm should have been. Instantly Kagome felt bad and walked over to Sesshomaru, surprising him when she bent down and pulled up his sleeve and put her hands over his left shoulder and focused all her miko energy on Sesshomaru's shoulder.

Blue energy lit up around Sesshomaru's shoulder and Kagome's hand. The light grew brighter until all you could see was blue light. Kagome looked up at Sesshomaru, who was staring wide eyed at his shoulder, suddenly he looked at Kagome, realizing she was staring at him her quickly changed his look from wonder to stoic. This confused Kagome. 'Why doesn't he show his emotion? I bet he'd look cute with a smile!' Kagome thought 'Wait Sesshomaru cute? What's wrong with me?' Kagome asked herself

Focusing back onto Sesshomaru's shoulder, Kagome realized it was fully grown and Kagome pulled her hand away, marveling at her artwork.

Peering up, Kagome stared at Sesshomaru, when he looked back, Kagome blushed and smiled at him her best smile.

'Her smile is beautiful! How can a human like her, she may be a miko but most mikos aren't like goddesses'!' Sesshomaru thought 'Wait her like a goddess? Well yes she is, youkai aren't even as beautiful as her!'

Turning away from Kagome, Sesshomaru decided to ignore the blush that was in her cheeks, looking at his new arm he decided to check the poison that should be in it.

"I want to check my new arm, see how well you did it. Did you not know that you could have purified me?" Sesshomaru asked, glaring at Kagome after the last part

"I'm sorry! I didn't realize this, I just felt so bad about your arm, if I'd have realized that the Great Sesshomaru Of The Western Lands wasn't grateful I wouldn't have done it!" Kagome said the heat coming to her cheeks as she spoke to Sesshomaru trying to be as sarcastic as possible.

"I sorry if I offended you Lady Kagome I was just stating a fact." Sesshomaru replied not noting if he heard the sarcastic ness in her voice "Now I am going to see how well my arm works would you like to come?"

"Humph, fine." Kagome said up.

But as she stood, her legs gave way underneath her, leaving her to fall. Kagome prepared herself for impact when she realized after a few moments that she had not hit the ground. Looking up Kagome realized that in the nick of time, Sesshomaru sprang up and caught Kagome, who was inches away from the floor. A few seconds after Sesshomaru would have caught her Kagome would have hit the floor.

"Thank you Sesshomaru." Kagome said suddenly aware that she was in Sesshomaru's arms, hoisting herself up by using Sesshomaru, Kagome said to Sesshomaru "I think I can walk now."

Sesshomaru just said hmmm and stared straight ahead at nothing. Kagome walked to the entrance of the hut, Kagome opened the flap and squinted at the sunlight's brightness, that had greeted her. Looking around Kagome saw children playing in a field to the left. Although the adults where working, running about the village trying to get chores down and over with. Kagome smiled and welcomed the noise and bustle, for she was happy to be there and to be alive. Sango and Miroku were off into a field playing with Shippo, Kagome heard Sango cry "Hentai!!" and then a hand connecting with flesh could be heard. Kagome's smile grew larger at this. Kagome looked around trying to spot Inuyasha, Kagome realized that he was now where to be seen. This troubled her, Kagome to deeply into her thoughts didn't realize a pair of amber eyes where intently watching her.

'Her emotion was happy one moment, then troubled the next! Her emotions change faster than any human I have encountered. She should have kept smiling, it suites her, she looks so kawaii with it. Wait kawaii? Hmmm I have heard from my hanyou brother that she is a miko could she have put a spell on me?' Sesshomaru thought, suddenly he realized Kagome was walking away from him, but not at her friends, but to the forest.

Not even thinking Sesshomaru ran after her. He soon caught up with her. She didn't pay any attention to him but stared at a clearing, Sesshomaru walked at the clearing only to stare wide eyed just like Kagome at the scene before them.

There before them was Inuyasha with Kikyou underneath him with no clothes on. Anyone's 1st and final guess would be the 2 are mating. And that's exactly what they were doing. Suddenly, Inuyasha began sniffing the air, Sesshomaru felt Kagome stiffen next to him. The smell of salt was emitting off her body, Sesshomaru realized that she was willing herself with all her strength to not cry.

"Kagome?" Inuyasha asked realizing that Kagome was there.

Kagome looked up to see Inuyasha in front of her, slowly Kagome backed away from him. Inuyasha stepped forward trying to get near Kagome but she kept backing away. A look of sadness came over his face. He knew he had broken her heart, she would not forgive him this time. Inuyasha opened his mouth to speak, but before he could a beautiful creature appeared before Kagome.

This creature was beautiful, wavy blue hair that was almost transparent that floated around her, her clothes were those of a goddess, a blue dress that covered her entire body from the neck down to the feet, revealing only her feet which were bare. Her skin was so creamy and soft looking it almost didn't look real. Around her on her back were 2 wings, white with blue strips, they were gently flapping, keeping the women of the ground.

The creature looked around at everyone then spoke, " I am Akemi, goddess of the stars, I was sent her from the Head Goddesses and Gods, and they are worried about a certain someone on this earth, Kagome. The gods think her heart will not mend unless something is done, they were thinking about taking her to the heavens but Kagome has many things left to do on this earth. So to mend her heart I was sent to change her form into that of a goddess. Her heart will mend but it must find love before her time is up on this earth."

Turning to Kagome, Akemi pulled out a wand from her kimono and tapped Kagome lightly on here heart. Stepping away from Kagome, who was now glowing blue, she was lifted off the ground by an invisible force.

As suddenly as the light appeared, it disappeared leaving a Kagome who now was falling to the ground gently. Everyone that was present ran to meet the now transformed Kagome. There lying on the ground was an even more beautiful than Akemi.

Kagome now still had raven black hair but it now had blue stripes in it, also it was twice as long as before, her hair looked so silky soft, Kagome now had wings also. Her face had 1 stripe on each cheek, which was red. On her forehead was a blue teardrop with red stars surrounding it.

"Who has broken her heart Akemi?" Inuyasha asked a frightened on his face

"A man by the name of Inuyasha has broken her heart too many times." Akemi replied a stoic face plastered on her face.

"Dammit..." Inuyasha said under his breath

"You are the one are you not?" Akemi asked softly.

"Yes, I, I don't understand, she looked like Kikyou, I couldn't choose, I love Kagome how could I have been a fool? I, I knew that Kikyou was evil and tainted, her aura showed it, her scent was of rotten eggs, while Kagome beautiful and pure, had the best arora I have crossed, her scent was of pure honey and flowers that smelled so heavenly."

" You must understand that this was meant to be, fate has its reasons, have faith." Akemi said with a sorrowful expression as she departed into thin air.

"Kagome!" Sesshomaru said

"Huh... what? Wha... where am I?" Kagome replied drozily

"Um maybe we'll explain everything later unless you remember what happened?" Inuyasha asked

"All I remember is that that goddess, Akemi, touched me on my heart and I lost all focus after that, um I'm guessing that was just a crazy dream, cause Akemi said I would be a goddess giggle I wish, but..." Kagome said her tone soft

"Sorry but its not a dream Kagome. Um your ah a ah goddess..." Inuyasha replied nervously

"WHAT?!?"

"Yes, come on you do have mirrors in that village right?" Sesshomaru said wincing at the noise

Kagome got up, trembling a little bit, she walked towards the village. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha looked at each other before following Kagome.

'Why am I so worried, she shouldn't be but what was with 'finding a new love'?'Sesshomaru silently asked himself.

Finally arriving at the village everyone stops to peer at the people entering. Gasps can be heard from all over the village. Kaede comes running out of her hut, with a worried expression plastered on her face. When Kaede spots Inuyasha standing beside Sesshomaru with a beautiful creature in front of them she runs over to them for questioning.

"What's going o? Wait Kagome?" Kaede asks after closer inspection of the creature

Nodding Kagome repeats the story over for Kaede.

"Wow, Kagome I can only guess who did this to you, Inuyasha." Kaede said glaring at Inuyasha.

"Yes. By the way where did Inuyasha go? Sesshomaru did you see?" Kagome replied

"Yes he said he was going to see the others and tell them."

"Ok"

Kagome sighed, her heart was mended but she would have to find a new love before she dies.

Flashback

"Kagome as a goddess, you do have special powers, I have read about these this is a very special gift, you're a miko goddess, a very rare species and I am guessing you're the only one left." Kaede said

"I do?"

"Yes."

"Well what are they?"

"Wait, hold on I think, I have a scroll somewhere with them." Kaede replied, groaning as she lifted herself up and walked over to a bookcase full of rolled up scrolls.

Kaede skimmed them, and then chose the 3rd one on the bottom.

"Ahh here it is." Kaede said walking over to Kagome holding a yellowish scroll.

Kaede handed it the scroll to Kagome who unrolled it and squinted at the old handwriting on it. Kagome read it aloud and this is what it said:

The powers of the Goddesses of the mikos

Mikos get special powers at birth for being mikos. Healing is one of them. But when the gods and goddesses of the earth choose special babies to bear being a goddess for a special mission they get even bigger powers of a goddess. On a special occasion the Council of the gods and goddesses also known as the gods and goddesses of the earth may choose a special person to bare being a goddesses even though its not there soul mission. Although this happens rarely and if this does happen there has to be a huge reason. Only 1 record has been known of a miko goddess, a miko named Akemi of the waters, who is now a very famous goddess not known anymore as a miko goddess.

Some of The Powers Of these rare and beautiful creatures are-

-Fire Balls –Spirit Shots –Purification

Some things a miko goddess can do are read auroras and fly. Barriers and healing are specialties too. There barriers are unbreakable, not even the strongest gods can break it that's why they have to choose carefully who can be one of these creatures.

End Of Flashback

Kagome began to think about her powers. "Sesshomaru do you think I really have powers?"

"I'm not sure I have never heard of your species but we can try in the field over there." Sesshomaru replied

"Ok!" Kagome said before running towards the field, Sesshomaru grinned and ran after her easily catching up, Sesshomaru grabbed Kagome by the waist and speed off towards the field he smiled even wider when he heard her laugh.

"Here we are." Sesshomaru said as they reached the field. Sesshomaru set Kagome down.

"Ok some of the powers where flight which I'm guessing my wings have something to do with this." Kagome said when he set her down.

Kagome started concentrating her miko power on her wings, which had started to gently flap, Kagome lifted up off the ground. Kagome squealed in glee.

"Tell me how did you do that?" Sesshomaru questioned

"I know I focused all my miko energy on my wings... it came so naturally maybe my other powers work the same way..." Kagome replied uncertainly.

All afternoon her and Sesshomaru tested out her powers. They both agreed that tommorow they would fight testing out her strengths and weakness, what Kagome needed to work on, strengthen her up a bit.

KLV: Finally I finsished the 1st chappie! Peeps tell me whatcha think cause I wanna know! If you don't I'll cry and sob my eyes out.

Inuyasha: O.o Feh, what a drama queen!

Kagome: Inuyasha SIT boi!

Sesshomaru: Did anyone ever teach him manners? I had to live with him for ah little while but this is ridiculous!

Inuyasha: Feh!!
