The Abduction

Kagome's life seemed perfect! She had a great job and had a fiance which she loved with all her heart. She looked at the locket hanging around her neck. She opened it up and saw the picture of her beloved InuYasha. She sighed a content sigh of relief. As she walked down the street she started to remember the day he proposed to her.

~~FlashBack~~

InuYasha slowly kneeled on one knee and brought out a red ring case and opened it up to present a diamon ring with a golden ban.

"InuYasha?" Kagome said shocked. She gazed at the ring and wondered... is this the moment she was urging to happen ... happening?

"Yes Kagome... will you marry me?"

"Oh InuYasha!" She screamed happily. "But how about Kikyou..." she asked, remembering the times he would secretly meet with her...

"Forget about her Kagome! you are the one I love..." InuYasha said with truth in his eyes.

"I love you InuYasha! And YES!" Kagome screamed with delight and jumped on him hugging him happily which caused him fall on carpet floor of his office.

They stood up and InuYasha gently placed the ring on her slender finger and saw the tears fill her eyes.

"I love you InuYasha..." Kagome whispered as they caught each other in a loving embrace.

"I love you too Kagome..." InuYasha whispered back, he finally felt complete, that this is the woman he was meant to be with.

Kagome slowly walked down the dark alley filling her mind with thoughts of a happy life with InuYasha. She then heard footsteps splash on the wet floor cement floor. She started to walk in a faster pace as she felt her heart beat faster hearing the foot steps behind her go faster as well.

'Please Kami... noo' Kagome thought. She decided not to look back and thought she would eventually be home with InuYasha, with no worries in the world. She then heard the footsteps stop and took a sigh of relief. She walked slowly and looked forward to the end of the alley.

Then she saw a figure jump in front of her out of no where. Her eyes widen as she saw a dark figure jump in front of her. She saw a man with a black pants and shirt and a black cloak. He had sunglasses on and his silver hair was brought back in a pony-tail.

"Wh-What do you want?" Kagome stuttered. She was in a defensive mode knowing she could be attacked any second. "If you want money.... I have plenty! Here just take my purse..." Kagome nearly stutter with fright. She pushed her purse to him and didn't see him accept it. She decided to run, run as fast as she could, she saw a police station nearby and decided that running quickly there would be her way out. She turned around and ran back away from the dark figure.

'Please Kami... help me!' She thought. She also thought that she was getting away, she heard no footsteps after her and looked back and saw nobody. She started

to run faster hoping she was getting closer to the police station. When she looked back she stumbled into the dark figure and fell into his arms. He hit her in the back of her neck and she fainted. The last image she saw was the shine of the man's sunglasses.

The man took Kagome in his arms and pondered looking at her frail body. 'I was sent to kill this woman... why don't I just fulfill my duties now... what is resisting me from killing this woman right here and now?' He stared and decided to just take her to a warehouse, then he would kill her... once she wakes up. A smile of enjoyment graced his face as he headed for the empty warehouse he stayed at and took most of his hostages.
