Inuyasha whiped out his father's fang immediatly, "Sesshoumaru, what do you want."

Sesshoumaru raised a fine brow at his brother, "I beleive that these are my lands and i have asked you the same question," he said in his nuetral tone. Inuyasha looked all most dumbfounded.

He was about to throw an insult at his brother when Kagome spoke up, "Sesshoumaru-sama, we just need a place for the night. Would you please help us," her voice was heavenly to his ears.

He nodded to her and she smiled, gods she was beautiful.

Inuyasha hed crossed his arms with his sword all ready back in its sheath. "Feh," was all he said.

The three sat in the dining hall at a long table, Sesshoumaru sat at the head of the table with his brother on his right and Kagome to his left. Kagome; she was all he thought about through the entire meal. He watched her from the corner of his eye as she slow ate.

She felt his eyes on her looked up at him, when their eyes met she hastily looked away. "Um..thank you Sesshoumaru," she said sofly

Inuyasha who had scarfed down the food stood and jumped from the window. Sesshoumaru saw this and watch the pained expression on Kagomes face. Inuyasha was going to see his undead wench. Why she insisted on contiually being hurt by that baka, he never understood.

"Kagome," she looked up at him quickly surprised to hear her name from him. she had noticed that he had been pretty nice to her.

"Yes, Sesshoumaru," she answered.

"Take a walk with me," she look at him even more surprised and a bit scared, what is he up to, she wondered to herself.

They walked in his garden, the light was the moon. everything looked peaceful and natural, Sesshoumaru could sense Kagome's uneasiness. "Why are you so tense," he asked her. she looked up at him and smiled.

"Its just a little cold is all," good she didnt have to lie she was feeling a bit cold. In response he wrapped an arm around her
