Summary: It is wartime and people are being drafted. Word have been sent out that a man from each family has to go into war. Kagome’s father, a former soldier and the only man in her family, now has to go to war. Kagome is worry about her father’s poor health and doesn’t want to see him die. She now has to figure out a way to save her father, but what can a woman at this time of age can possibly do about it? Cross-dress as a man and take the place of her father? What happens when she finds out that she has more than she bargained for? The story takes place near feudal era, Japan. [Inspired by Disney’s Mulan]
