I loved the way you started off the story. I especially like how in character Sesshoumaru has been so far. I know that several authors have trouble doing that, that is one of the hardest things for me to do, but you did it very nicely. Well done!

I like the opening, it definitely shows potential.
Though, if i may, i'd personally would like it if Kagome slowly builds Sesshomaru's frustration and anger by somehow escaping him evrytime he is after her.

Through their constant battles, you could devlelop their relationship - be it Sesshomaru's fascination and lust for her power, and Kagome's attraction to his looks, possibly feral side. Though keep the focus on Sesshomaru, because the problem with makking a sess/kag pairing, is Sesshomaru's character. I mean in the anime, it's so obvious it would never happen, so i think if you did it in this way, it would make their relationship one of the most realistic ones out of many of the fanfics i've read.
