Poor Ayumi I know how it feels like to gwt their pet stolen. After my dog had her litter we stayed with one pup and by morning the gate was open and they were gone and we never found them again. But it will get better.

You've really got me curious now. Is she part of the sisterhood? And just how old is she really? Also, there has to be youkai in this era, just under concealment. Right? Even though he's a dog, Sesshoumaru is still youkai. I just adore the way you have the animals have conversations and interact with each other. It makes them so much more interesting to know their thoughts and views on things and people around them. I can hardly wait for Sesshoumaru to be united with Kagome. He is going to be one shocked "puppie". I'm trying to rein in my impatience for that particular chapter and the ones to follow. So funny! He always looked down on her before as a ningen and Inuyasha's wench. Now, he'll belong to her. haha.

Using a similar idea and putting your own plot around it is NOT PLAGIARISM! Just like you said, how many hundreds of stories start with Kagome's heart being broken by Inuyasha when she sees him with Kikyou and running through the forest and meeting up with Sesshoumaru. I've read that so many times, I gag at that beginning now. Besides you and Striking Falcon are not the only ones that wrote about him being a dog. For example: can't remember the name of the story but she purchased him from a dog pound. In this one, she knew his true identity. This author was not accused of being a thief! My response to idiots is to consider the source of the mouth spewing the garbage. Now, onto my review. I consider this chapter to be a "filler" chapter which was needed to introduce what will soon become his pack. I am so looking forward to seeing him put the old bitch in her proper place. teehee. Maybe he'll even housebreak her, too, since the smell was offensive to his nose. You left the chapter at a slight cliffie. I'm now eager for the next update.

I really like this & am looking forward to more, hopefully soon. Just as an FYI it's Jack Russell not Rustle, they were named after their creator the Parson Jack Russell just like Dobermans are named after Louis Dobermann & a slew of other breeds are named after the people who came up with them.

The plagiarism thing is getting really bad lately, a lot of people are 'crying wolf' about plagiarism without knowing what plagiarism is, people are saying A plagiarized B but the only thing that is the same in any way are maybe the same 2 words put together in the same order in 1 sentence. Plagiarism is wholesale copying people not a vaguely similar set of circumstances or sentences in a fic. You have some similarities in theme, Sess gets magically turned into a dog in a Sess/Kag pairing, but that's about it since they aren't handled in the same way as Second Chance & this sure isn't word for word copying. Heck technically all the fanfic writers are plagiarizing the original creators of the works they came from.

Your first chapter caught my attention. I like the plot. I'm curious to see how you manage to get him to Kagome. Are you going to have Ayumi request that she stop on her way through Texas and visit with Tor for some reason? I like to try and guess future events to see how close I come. haha> Just please don't write 30+ (random figure) of chapters with him as a dog doing and behaving in ways that would make anyone with common sense become suspicious. Like this one story (remaining nameless) about him as a dog. I don't expect him to get his humanoid form back in the first few chapters. That would defeat the purpose of the plot. But the other story overdid it. I eventually became frustrated and quit reading it. Anyway, you've got me excited and I can hardly wait for your next update.

Great story I really like it! The only thing that I would like to point out thought is that the age you put on the driver that ran over poor Sess was THREE years old!!! I thought it was just one typing mistake but you kept on putting that age for like 3 or 4 times O_O just thought you might want to fix that = /
