hummm im not sure about the attack, but Isoroku Yamamoto was responsible for planning the pearl harbor attack, and was thwarted at the battle of midway. wow that chapter really brought some things together in my mind.

I really appreciate your story. Its a totally new and refreshing intake on sesshoumaru's life, although Kagome's role is taking a little longer to be established. But i wont say i havnt been warned about your long story. Which i love by the way. I like having so many questions. It just means that the story is complicated; it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat waiting for something interesting to happen or more answers revealed. I'm in for the long haul. Just hoping you would update soon! =]

I'm just so darn confused....... 0_0 I really feel like I'm missing some piece of the puzzle that makes this all fit together. I'm guessing that you'll be explaining the whole period of time between jumping into the lake and then being at the Western castle, and his father who I thought died in the other world or something maybe. Ohhh God it hurts, I have to stop now I feel like I'm in organic chemistry all over again. Kinda get it, but not really, and will probably fail the test.

This piece of fan fiction is very well written, I'm sorry that I haven't looked at it sooner. I know all too well what it's like not to have reviews sometimes, but if writing makes you happy, then keep on going ^_^ Perhaps soon we can see some Kag/Sess interaction of any kind, maybe that's why there is a lack of response ::shrugs:: no idea. But people are missing out by not reading this; I'm really enjoying the take on Sesshoumaru's past! Keep up the great work, I'll be sure to add this to my list of reccommended reading!

The story is good, even if it hasn't yet had much interaction between Kagome and Sesshoumaru. It keeps you in suspense, and on the very edge. I think it explains the hatred also between Sesshoumaru, and Inu Yasha also.

This was no duel... it was a fight to the fucking death. Sorry that was just what popped up in my head when I read the last bit. This isn't really a review just a here I am to let you know I'm reading cause I don't really review till the end. I keep coming back though and that should count for something.

I just discovered your story and read all 10 chapters. I must say, your approach on Sesshoumaru is very unique. I've never read him portrayed like this before. You've got me interested. The story so far seems so hauntingly sad with lots of unanswered questions. Such as: Who's Corran and how did they meet? I got the impression he's a figure from Hades since everything burns where he steps. What happened to Oro? Who is this mysterious enemy? Unless I misunderstood, his first "father" was not his blood father. Then how did he end up being raised by someone other than he and Inuyasha's father? Somewhere along the way he had to have met up with his real father to know of Inuyasha and grow to hate him. There's the empty Western palace puzzle, too. Also, you've got me curious about his dead wife. I'm anxious to read more about his past. You see, you've opened Pandora's box of mysteries and unanswered questions. I'm glad you gave him his arm back. I hate a one-armed Sesshoumaru. Some writers leave him that way or at least almost to the end. I like it near the beginning like you did. Maybe they don't realize he got it back in the manga along with a new sword "Bakusaiga" (spelling - something like that). Will this new vendetta and surge of coming alive again bring back his powers? And maybe by falling in love with Kagome will completely bring him back? Chapter 10 only revealed a small part of the plot along with more questions. You know you've got me good and hooked to the end. My head won't quit spinning until all the questions have been answered and the mysteries solved. P.S. I like the little bits of information at the end of the chapters.

welll you have already started the whole Kagome discovering the past thing so it would be kinda weird if you just abandoned it.

GREAT!!!! Love this story. And I think you should continue writing about Kagome finding out about Sess's past or you can do both present day plot advancement and Kagome discovering Sesshomaru’s past at the same time.

Alternating between past and present is generally the best way to go- that way, we get to see what's going on in both areas, without having to keep rereading things we've forgotten.

I find reading your story very interesting. It is a lot different than what I originally expected. I am enjoying reading the history of how Sesshoumaru came to be what he is today. I think it gives this story its edge and twist. I enjoy your sense of humor as well, this story is a real easy read. I look forward to reading how this story developes.

I read this fic yesterday, and it has stuck with me enough that I had to tell you about it. The possiblities are great. I couldn't remeber the name of this fic, and it was really bothering me because I really wanted to keep reading more.

Deep inside me there is this urge (upper intestin/diaphram region) that NEEDS to know what will happen when Kagome meets up with Sesshoumaru. That little urge has been interrupting my thoughts all day: 'Will Kagome be able to interviene in time?' or 'Will it even make a difference--Sesshoumaru has been through so much...(insert pang in that aformentioned area)' .

I'm like worried and waiting and pining away here for the next chapter. Way to make the characters real!
