You know, I almost didn't read this story because the first part appeared to be in the first person, which I find difficult and pretentious because the writer is often projecting his/herself into the story. As I continued reading, I was glad that it wasn't and even more glad that I did. This is an interesting story and the second chapter had me pulled in. Well done!
And don't stop the AN's. Readers like that you acknowledge that you read the reviews and is encouraged by them. Writers that show indifference to the reader is rude to me. At any rate, great story.

There are some little mistakes here and there, though I'm sure with a re-reading you can easily pick them out and redraft. But apart from that, your story really is very good. It is easy to empathize with the characters and I was very drawn in by your story.

Great start, I liked the character development of Sesshoumaru so far. I liked the realistic reaction of Kagome to Sesshoumaru's words when he broke it off with her. I think that is was different and well written. I noticed a few grammar mistakes, but it was good overall. I can't wait until the next chaper, keep up the good work....
