Just finished the first chapter. Beautifully, carefully-crafted story. I was gonna take a nap (up too late last night) and thought I'd take laptop into bed, read for a few minutes, sleep. No chance of that now! I'm reading more.

I am very interested in your story. Sesshoumaru is such a hypocrite as he finds Rin, a perfectly acceptable human who he understands, yet Kagome, who behaves in a similar manner, he finds incomprehensible. His other thoughts are so violent as if that is the solution to all things.
How on earth did I overlook this TREASURE for so long??? I love what you are doing with the emphasis on both Sesshoumaru and Kagome's introspection, as well as their obvious confusion toward each other.
I will be eagerly awaiting future updates... and I promise to TRY to review - at least now and again. I'm not the world's best reviewer, but I will TRY!! Thanks so much for a thoroughly entertaining afternoon!!

Thank you, thank you!!! It's good to see you back. I missed you.
Poor Sesshoumaru. He keeps looking for excuses to explain away things in order to keep from admitting to having feelings. For instance, in the case of Rin. It's almost funny. Somehow, he's going to have to figure out that in order to understand Kagome and have his questions answered, he's going to have to admit to himself that he can experience feelings, emotions. Otherwise, he will never completely understand any answers she may give him. Such as her explanation of honor over the burial of the villagers. He's not willing to admit it yet, but not only is his mind being overtaken with the puzzle that is Kagome, but his emotions are getting involved, too. Poor Inuyasha. He means well, but he's so immature and mixed up where his feelings are concerned. I can understand that he's alpha and she's part of his pack. He's just so quick to temper and gets her temper up. I don't blame her for not wanting him to know the truth. He would not understand because he'd refuse to let himself understand due to the fact it involves his brother. Wow, I'd best shut up before I write a book as a review! Again, I'm glad you're back and your story is back on my fav list.

I could cry. I check dailly for updates and continually come up empty. I've made the decision to remove this story from my fav list which pains me to do so. If you eventually make the decision to return to this story, please e-mail me and I will place it back on my fav list with the utmost delight and joy.

Please, I'm begging on bended knee for an update. It's been since 11/18. I hope you have not given up on this intriguing story. It promises to be different and I don't want to let go of it. Please let you fans know something through an update or an A/N.

OK now! I know ASS was down for a short while but its been back up for awhile, too. Where's the update? This is one of my favorite stories on my fav list. Please don't abandon it! I'll cry if you do. Too many good stories get abandoned.

Argh! I could have smacked Inuyasha for showing up when he did. I'm glad Kagome is maturing in her understanding of her feelings for Inuyasha. Now maybe she can turn to someone else and get on with her life. I get a big kick out of how confused Sesshoumaru is over her. He thinks he's going to wrap everything up in a neat package concerning her. Personally, I believe the more he's exposed to her, the more confused and frustrated he's going to be. I'm enjoying his confusion.

There was nothing wrong with this chapter!! It worked very well with the story so far from the reader's point of view.
Now that i've reached the end though, i want more!

You have Sesshoumaru nailed to a T, let me tell you! I love the way he decides he doesn't like the blood coating her and would instead strangle her. something tells me that in the end he wouldn't like her pale and lifeless either.
where is the honour in burying the dead only for them to be dug up again? Fantastic line, very Sesshoumaru
Priestess Skye- Sun 18 Nov 2007
Oh Sesshoumaru's confusion astounds me. You've nailed it. His confusion, unwillingness to share, the indecision to keep Kagome alive or kill her, the puzzle, loved it

Wonderful beginning. I tried to keep track of some of the lines I loved but there were too many of them. The angst though...excellent

This is very intriguing. Another evil worse than Naraku? Or maybe it's a spawn of his. Either way, I'm sure your plans for this new evil will make for interesting reading. You described everything, their feelings and what they were seeing, in this chapter with such indepth that I could almost see and feel with them. Thank you for the update.

Oh yes. I put this story in my favorites list. I'm fascinated with what you have done so far. I enjoy reading their inner thoughts. I'm glad you're presenting InuYasha in this way and I'm very intrigued and delighted with the way your building Sess's character. I enjoyed the funny parts in the first chapter and hope that you will continue to spot your story with little bits of hilarity from time to time. I anxiously await your next update.
