I cried during and after reading chapter 36. I mean I balled out. Oh my goodness, the two scenes, the one when her friends were trying to get her to learn how to make a fire and the one following that WOW! 35 years, WOW! The way you set it up it was emotionally overwhelming and powerful. I felt an onslaught of emotions imagining what she must have went through. And to think she had forgotten her BEST friends and no more use for her voice. I CANNOT wait for another update! Absolutely brilliant!

I absolutely loved the last chapter. It was so very descriptive, the character development taken in steps as time passed radically. I especially enjoyed the Pisces-kun part, her realization that she cannot kill herself, it was a very excellent merge of Groundhog Day and Cast Away rolled into a segoku jidai fic. Oh I just remembered my reason for sending a review....haha. It did not occur to me until I read the Q&A that there was a chance that there would be no romance between the two. If it were the case and they didn't end up together it would still make for a great epic tale, I don't think it would take away from the story in the least. Both characters have grown and learned so much...wow.

I love how this is going! It is amazing how you have portrayed and continue to portray each character. You have captured the nuances of each of their personalities in such an original and breathtaking way. They are polar opposites, Sesshoumaru’s old wisdom and general disconnect from all living things and Kagome’s young naivete and all out “reckless” compassion, and I think this is how they learn from each other and grow to appreciate the other. From the setup I can totally believe that their union will be one made from a mutual respect of the other and it will allow them to be equals (of course, Kagome will have to soothe Sesshy’s ego and let him think he’s in charge). Many authors write very wonderful stories but this is the first that I have seen it where neither has an advantage over the other, no attraction has taken place, well at least not in this part of the story, and they are force to understand the other without being forced to change oneself. Can’t wait to read more!

Truly remarkable. Things are falling more into place now; why these beings are trapped in this story and such. The way you closed Hanasaka jii-san was so incredibly needed - it gave us insight on Sesshoumaru and his clan's history. It allowed us to peer into a corner of Sesshoumaru's thoughts and it brought a big part of his frustrations to a conclusion. I'm so excited about the new arc! I wonder if Kagome's going to realize something profound or find spiritual enlightenment or something. hehe. Can't wait for the next chapter!!!

I just love Kagome's passion and resolve to follow her heart. Though Sesshomaru's lesson was harsh - and wise, she still feels compelled to seek the dragon king out. But what will she offer him? I really love your story. For one, it's very original. There's no story out there quite like yours and that is quite impressive considering the overdone storylines that I'm sure every Sess/Kag fan have run into.

Another reason is your writing style. It's very mature and it doesn't rush into anything which causes the story to not feel rushed.

The portrayal of the characters is really good, too. Kagome is acting like Kagome and Sesshoumaru is acting like Sesshoumaru.

Well, i was surprised when the fire surrounded him, but i think it would have been a wonderfull thing to see, if he hadn't been giving off an evil preasance... And i was surprised when Sesshy wasnt mad about being called a servant....
And wait! Do i sense a change of heart in sesshy? He didn't have to hold on-to Kags when they 'got out of the fires way', but he did! lol...
and, who is this "Yamata-no-Orochi"? I don't recognise his name, we'll find out next chapter, right? And....is he related to the dragon that killed sesshy's father? And its obvious he is weaker than sesshy, because sesshy is near the power level of the lord of his clan, Shiro-Sama, because there is 'no smell' in this part of the story, and unless the 'dragon lord', or who ever he is, isn't working on getting out, then he is very weak, and if he can't tell that sesshy is a lord, that just proves it....
I find it ironic that kags thought the Lord stepping on the dragon was stupid, because she basicaly called herself stupid, and she doesn't even seem to notice it! lol

I adored Shiro-Sama. I have an idea for the ending of the story.

Like after Kagome's time in the Sengoku era, Kagome must leave behind her friends and including InuYasha in either a sweet parting or torn away from each other. Then once she attains to going to Tokyo U, she sees someone with long silvery hair, or both Shiro-sama and Sesshoumaru walking on the campus grounds while cherry blossoms fall. She would run up to them, she surprizes them. And just end it there to connect to a whole new story where Shiro-Sama plays match maker when he knows that those two belong together! ^_^

I think it would be awesome if you did that.

So please continue this awesome story!!!!

That had me laughing for a good five minutes, and JUST when I managed to get it under control..... you had to go and write this "“What are you doing?” she yelled at the tai youkai as he continued to bounce on the dragon’s belly, much to his own consternation. He really did loathe the lack of dignity associated with such an act." I quite like this story, it's clever, although I'm sure I've said that once already...

*squeal* Orochi!! For some reason, I LOVE Orochi-sama. His story is, perhaps, my favorite out of any Japanese tale. He's just so, deliciously, evil. I can't truly tell you how amazing it is to see one capture the dynamics between Kags and Sesh so well. I can truly see that should the two be trapped together, that this relationship would be the outcome. He does not hate humans; he simply doesn't care for their insolence. And she's not truly selfless; but ignorantly so of the repercussions of her actions.

Your grammar is almost perfect; there have been a few mistakes, but none so grand as to deter me from reading. And should I even have to mention how dashingly erotic you have made Shiro? I really think the story fits perfectly as the beginnings of their lineage, so you chose well. The only thing that would have made it better would have been Sesh's reaction to Shiro kissing her. But then again, he probably wouldn't have cared so much as it's too soon in their time together. Dangit! *lol*

I truly do love the imagination in this story Kags and Sess working together. Not a love match just yet, but that little something is there. I love it.

This story is absolutely amazing... I'm not familiar with the fairy tales but from reading the story and hearing that they are "real" (well in as much as being actual fairy tales lol) fairy tales interwoven into the Inuyasha world... I was just blown away - especially at this last chapter.

Your quality of writing is superb! I often come across stories with tempting summaries; only to find out upon reading them that the grammar is lacking and it doesn't really flow well enough to hold my interest - it's very disappointing when you're into the storyline but can't get your head away from all of the errors long enough to really enjoy it lol You definitely don't present that problem, though, and it's refreshing and very, very appreciated.

I'm not too entirely sure of the timeline of updates on the story, but I'm *definitely* going to check back for more!

I love that Sesshomaru and Kagome both are fairly in-character in this story; and yet, the interaction between them and an almost tangible magnetism toward each other is presented (especially in the "can't get close enough to kiss me" scene - I loved it!).

It's good to see fairy tales that I rarely hear or see in books come to life within your story. I was sad when I fond out the next tale was of the old man and his dog that story always made me cry when I was little. But I love the new ending thank you for doing that. That was so sad! But I'm glad Shiro lived on. The Clan of Shiro works out so well too, what with them wearing so much white and the hair and all. I absolutely love the way you wove their family history into this story. I can't believe you found so many connections, like their acidic abilities and all. I guess their grandfather is a sort of inugami then?

I also think that it's hard for Sesshou-kun I guess because he knew what will happen to Shiro-sama and just let it unfold.
