You're a good writer to put something in a story to get some readers upset and others defending your direction. I will defend your right to write a story the way your imagination sees it. That does not mean that I agree with it though. I have to agree with Lisa in her review back in March. Your writing talents have made me dislike the Kagome in your story. Sesshoumaru would be better off without her. She deserves Inuyasha. I have to admit that I skipped that scene. I did not want to read the details of their sex scene together because to me she was betraying Sesshoumaru. I don't blame him for feeling sick. I felt sick for him. Since she seems to like the kind of partner that uses her to take away her innocence and then brag about it. What does she do? Go crying over him in the hospital when he's not even injured and not sorry over a vehicular manslaughter charge. I applaud what Sesshoumaru did. He should do the same and kick Kagome out of his life. How could he want her after letting herself be used and asking to be used again. See what I mean. Your indepth depiction of your characters pulls in your readers. I have to admit I just skimmed through the next chapters after that one. I don't think I'm going to read anymore, though, because to me she's too tainted for Sesshoumaru even if they do get together in the end. You made me not like her. Don't take this as a flame. It's not. It's a testament to your talent. It's good to cause controversy sometimes. Good luck with the rest of the story. Don't give up on it. You must finish for those of your fans that are enjoying it.

I absolutely love this story and I hope you continue it. This is the first fic, I've really enjoyed in a long time.

I have to make one more comment... I don't agree that just because this is an SK site there can't be lemons between Kagome and another character. That's why it's a *story* after all, which allows limitless means of plot and character development. You gotta do what you gotta do to make your point, and I have no problem with the direction you've taken. Quite the contrary, I love the depth you've touched upon and hope to see these relationships continue to evolve. I'm just sayin'.

I really hope you don't give up on this story. You've enthralled me with every chapter. Your writing is witty, concise, expressive and relatable. I feel very sympathetic and connected to these characters as you've envisioned them, and while it is a rather Vegas-sized Neon "Duh" sign that Sesshoumaru and Kagome will end up together, I hope there's some sort of redemption for Inuyasha. Whatever you come up with, I know I'll be besotted. Please keep up the great work!

this is probably my favorite chapter so far, despite its melancholy-ness.

This is a Sess/Kag site so if generally speaking, if either Sesshoumaru or Kagome have lemons not with each other, will not be well received. Honestly, I don't like that either, the lemons should be used on star characters (Sesshoumaru and Kagome), I skip all others. Additionally, I think there should be a certain amount of loyalty with friendship, since Sesshoumaru and Kagome were friends first and even best friends, when she has an issue with him it should be taken up in private, not out for the world (Inuyasha) to see. And it seems like Inuyasha is the victim in this and Sesshoumaru is the bad guy. There are two sides to every story, what is Sesshoumaru's point of view? Also, Inuyasha is old enough to discern right from wrong and should have some level of common sense and forthought. I don't understand how Kagome can be so forgiving of him when he has publicly revealed their sexual relationship to everyone (which by the way I think is worse) and not be so judgemental when it comes to Sesshoumaru's treatment of Inuyasha. Also, wouldn't Kagome's view be that of a human and she's trying to impose the views on demon society? Or does that not come in to play at all? I mean it seems a like a big issue in your story, humans vs demons. With all of that said, I am interested in what you do with this story and how it ends. Good Luck!

This one really is different. Its a nice change from a lot of the other stories you'd find on this site. It actually makes me a bit nervous because it isnt so straightforward like most of the others. Theres a bit of mystery in it. Keep writing!
