You did a fine ending. I know it must be difficult to tie up a story to make a good ending. I knew Kagome would hold the whole thing against herself and conceiving her second child on the same night Tsukiko's death occurred made it harder to get over. It's sad it took them longer to mate but was understandable. And I had an inkling about the vial of sand being of importance but it totally went over my head that it was Tsukiko's soul. I thought maybe her brother had a way of binding Kagome's and Tsukiko's spirits together...well, anyway, you did well. Till the next time. JEN

You have done more than extremely well. I was so very moved and totally engrossed into the whole chapter. Don't change a thing. I think the way Sesshoumaru asked for forgiveness and the way he kept trying to get her to accept him was totally right on. It happened to me when my husband and I were first together. I want to give you credit where it is due. You have put alot of thought into making Sesshoumaru sound real and believable. I think you did just that. I'm sorry that the Lady felt she had to kill herself and I know Kagome will take this harder than anyone but maybe the Lady left Kagome a note just for Kagome's eyes that will help to allieviate the pain and guilt that Kagome will feel. Kagome did try to stay away and she was put in a situation where he was bound to return and his mate should have seen this coming, so it's her fought too! I like to read a story like this that goes further into the relationship of their lives where they are some day -to-day living. i read your a/n and have this to say: YOU are the author; the story is YOURS to tell. if someone doesn't like the way you tell it, then they need to write their own damned story. i don't understand why anyone would take the time to read your story and then criticize the content! Critique the grammar, word usage and structure, but if the reader isn't happy with the story, why the hell are they reading it? i'm not going to get on my soapbox, i've railed against mean people and mean reviews before and i don't think its made any difference. I am enjoying this story, you've made me cry and i am so pissed at sesshoumaru that i could spit nails; you must be doing something right if you get such emotional reactions from your readers. while i love that you are posting so quickly, i do think that you should take another review of each chapter before you post because the closer you get to the end, the more errors i can see. sorry to be a butt-head, however, i am very anal retentive when it comes to the technical side of writing. loving it anyway.

I happened across this fic in the wee hours of this morning and after reading it I had to stop to think if I really enjoyed Kagome being a concubine. It somehow disturbs me to think that she was given into this position. I usually like the InuPapa that most write him as but this one put him in a totally opposite light. I read this last chapter and decided that even though I may not like Kagome in this position that I do find the fic intriguing. I am surprised that InuYasha just left her there alone to be used as his brother willed. I would have left and taken her with me not stopping until I could find her a place far from them. I would have even told her their plans for her and asked her if she would prefer death. But then that would have ended the story right there and well, that just ain't good. So, I'm with you all the way now and as of this last chapter I am curious to find out what he plans for the child after it is born. Is Kagome the babymaker and nursemaid or will Sesshoumaru see the value of Kagome's love, loyality and strength and decide she should be his mate. Did they not also take second mates in that era too? Hmm, questions, many of them...I'll be waiting. JEN

You know, I didn't really notice that you didn't describe her. To me, I think it's far more natural to let a description come out over time -- when it feels right. You gave us enough to give a rough picture of her and you let us fill in the rest. That's what real professional writers do. They don't go into a length explanation of exactly how a character looks the first time you meet them.
