Great fic i loved it, i'm supposed to study for a test but ended up reading this fic from start to finish in two days....amazing fic!

It has been awhile since I have had a fanfic story to read all the way through to the ending. That was fun. You gifted me with several days of enjoyable reading. The story was well written and compelling. Your original characters were lovable and you kept Kagome and Sesshomaru in character throughout. The plot was original and I loved how you mixed the fuedal era into modern times through the dreams. Oh, I'm so happy! That ended wonderfully! I was a little disappointed, however, that we didn't get to see the "wedding" that Sesshoumaru told Kagome they were going to have. But I guess it doesn't matter, right? And I loved that Kagome initiated the mating - too many girls have that "right place, right time" nonsense drilled into them, not realizing that as long as you're with the person you want to be with, everything is fine.

You did such a wonderful job, and I wish there would be a sequel to this. Sesshoumaru and Kagome need to have a few more kids (sorry, Kags! lol), and as head of a security company, there's always baddies around.

Again, I always loved this story, and I'm very satisfied with the ending. Great job!

After reading about a million stories I thought I'd never find a really really good one until this one crossed my path. This is the most beautifully written story I have ever read. Loved it! I liked the sense of closure, especially. Everything was handled by them together, and the pair managed to defeat Naraku! Though, I feel a bit bad for Inuyasha. Anticlimactic indeed...LOL

I think this is the best fic tha I ever read about this coupple...that I love so much!!! You are the one of fewers writers that know how to put Sesshomaru on the picture! Masterful as always. The relationship between Sesshoumaru and Kagome is utterly believable and completely wonderful.

I am mixed on the notion of memory wiping as well. On one hand, people would have to fight for their rights, but on another, they wouldn't have to hide who they were anymore.

Perhaps, when/if the Prime Minister is saved by youkai, he would be more understanding of the fact that youkai are as humans-some god, some bad.

I like how you don't have all humans against demons. Hell. if I woke up tomorrow and found out there were aliens/demons/some other living amongst us, I'd be like, "Cool."

I would like to start out by letting you know that I gave up about 30 minutes of writing my religion paper (I'm sure my religion professor would be happy to hear that I'm reading about Japan while writing a Catholic paper, though he has told me that he wants to go to Mt. Fuji over spring break and you have no idea how close I am to begging him to take me along) to read this, and I'm not complaining. I found that if I read a bit of this story, and then worked on my paper a bit I was able to focus my thoughts betters. So thank you for helping me in the writing of my paper.

He really should have listened to Kagome's advice and not allowed them to bring whatever they wanted. Oh well, his house will be decorated differently for a while I'm sure he will be fine as long as he has his study to run to.

I never would have thought that Sesshoumaru would fear the combination of Kagome and Rin, though he should be. I have to say that you do a good job of portraying a laid back Sesshoumaru while still keeping the characteristics of the old Sesshoumaru.

Good work. I searched through 163 new e-mails to find the one where it told me that you had updated and I'm glad I didn't put it off to finish my paper. I guess I have to go finish it now. Oh well, my stall tactics are now over.

Wow. Not only have you presented us with a great plot and sub-plot, but with new, interesting characters. This is easily one of my favorite fanfics ever. Now, on to the gushing. I'm so glad that it's out in the open. Finally, Sesshoumaru is showing Kagome that he cares for her. And finally, Kagome is not so naive. The sketches aren't progressing too much, I can't seem to get Sesshoumaru's hands to look right. But I won't give up. :) As for the sketch on Sachimaru, I have to re-draw it on a clean paper before I continue on it. I'll post it on Deviantart once I'm done. :)

Why are some of them so much further ahead in their dreams, does it matter, or is the progression and memory just coming back slower to some of them? Hmm, curious...I was thinking that the amulet given to Sachimaru was what made them all forget and that it being given by Katsuo that he would have known why all this happened. I thought maybe he was protecting Kagome and the baby from something and assuring that the future she and Sachimaru would still be safe even if any youkai lived that long. But now you threw a new curve into this. I KNOW Akiyama is at the root of all this but I can't wait to find out how and why? He must have tampered with the amulet...grrr...I'll be waiting. Great job! A lot went on in that chapter. At least Sesshoumaru realized his error in asking Kagome if she'd slept with Katsuo.

I liked the 'demon rule' about not talking to guests on the island. It outlines that the demons of different countries, while joined by thier shared origins, still have the same problems that human cultures do. That, and I hope I won't have to see Akiyama talk to Kagome.

Then again, it would be just like him to use it to his advantage, claiming that she's more than a 'guest' to him, or some such nonesense, to get a rise out of Sesshoumaru.

Ok, *breathes sigh of relief* I narrowly missed being uprooted by the tornadoes (Michigan got BLASTED yesterday) and my b. day is tomorrow, so I think I've earned the time to sit down a write some long-overdue reviews, starting with this one!

As always, terrific chapter... Sesshy's feelings keep developing, more bits and pieces become more apparent, more parts of the puzzle fall into place. Then, again as always, you just have to throw that damn agonizing moment of 'OMG, WTF happens!' in at the end. You ARE good, have I said that before?? Like, maybe, once or twice?!

Four chapters now, and counting, right? I STILL cannot, for the life of me, figure out how you manage to do all this patient, step-by-step build-up and then just... WHOOSH!!! You reveal all in the last few chapters, yet you manage to do so in a way that does not seem in the least bit hurried or truncated. Damn, that really IS good!!!

Oh well, I'm along for the whole ride regardless, so I guess I can quit cudgeling my poor brains over it, huh? As for the next opus, m'dear, WHATEVER you write will, NO DOUBT, be eminently readable and enjoyable. While I have developed a sneaking fondness for your OCs, whoever you throw in there with Sesshy and Kags will work just as well, I'm sure. As will whatever period/genre you decide to follow. I have "Faith" that you will make it plausible regardless of how you go about it!! In fact, I'm counting on it!!!!!

As for your questions at the end, I would love to see another work with your OCs included. I don't really have a preference for whether the story was to start at the end of the anime or sometime later...though I haven't read much farther in the manga...I think I only read as far as Sesshomaru being able to use the new power of Tensaiga...sp I'll leave that up to you. :)

Evil Cliffie!!! EVIL!! I think I got that out of my system. Since you update on a regular basis I think my hair will not catch fire in anticipation. I have to admitt that I fear the story will resolve itself too quickly. But you are a skilled and well thought-out writer, so I am fearing for nothing.

I would love to have your OCs revisit again in another fic. They develope more depth each time you work with them. (Though Moriko is a bit left out in this one). I would think that a story set later in the manga series would be more difficult to write since Sesshoumaru has changed from the complete iceprick that most are accustomed to. Though the compassion he learned may work to your advantage.

I'm looking forward to your new fic. I've no doubt that it will be every bit as wonderful as your previous works.

I've not gotten to read very much of the manga and have only heard bits and pieces, so whatever you decide there is good to me. Honestly, I just like your writing skills. You can write as well as tell a good story and keep the twists and turns leaving us guessing for more. I really like your original characters, especially Katsuo and Akiyama, the elemental, you have alot of possibilities with his species. Kagome will then have a friend in Katsuo she can trust as much as InuYasha. I really hate that alot of people bash InuYasha because in his own brash way he loves Kagome and would give his life literally to save hers...he just wasn't "in love" with her. I don't think he really knew what real love was. Kikyou was his first love as he was for Kagome and not all first loves are true love. I don't hate Kikyou either. She, as far as the series shows, is misunderstood. She fell in love with InuYasha thus the spell that Tsubaki cursed her with and Naraku's goals to get the tama was her downfall. Her only desire as said in one chapter was that she only wished she could live a normal life, with love and a family and not have to be the protector of the Shikon no Tama and a priestess who could never have her life her own. She only wished InuYasha to be human so that they could live a normal life and to just be free to love each other without his demonic side coming attracking trouble for them. After her life with demon slaying and constant cleaning people up after battles, at her age, I think I can sympathize. She didn't ask to be a miko, she was raised as one,right? Hmmm, anyway sorry for the ramblings. I'm excited to see you tie up all the loose ends on this fic. You've got anumber of things happening at once and I can see why Akiyama may wish to keep one up on Kagome and Sesshoumaru but now that InuYasha knows the dreams are memories he needs to tell them what they don't know. Kagome has the possible key as to why the memories are coming back and if my guess is right Akiyama had his hand in all of this, using the necklace like he made all the jewery for his loyal people to keep their identities under control, having the ability to control when and how it worked. Thanks for allowing me to go and on. I just love this fic. JEN

Wow! More twists! i love it! I wonder what will happen now that Kagome broke the pendant. Can't wait to see. As far as another story, I would definitely like to see more of your original characters. They're all very real and lovable, so i'd be extatic to read another story with them in it. as far as setting, I have no real opinion. I guess it matters more whether you can write a story you're happy with easier in the middle of the series or at the end. I really think it it should be your own comfort that determines that. Some authors have difficulty weaving their story into the middle of the happenings of the series and still have the characters be in character, and the plot be believabhle, while some have trouble adding on to the end, so to speak. Whatever you decide to do, I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

I've always like AU fics more than canon. Just as long as the plotlines are original.

For your next story, it would be nice to bring in ur other characters; however, remember that any deviation from the original series designate it as some sort of AU, so u can claim it as a canon with slight hints of AU to cover urself should u decide to include them. One thing I would really like to see is the inclusion of Sesshy's mom. I think she would be a great new character to work with.

Well, as they say, the plot thickens. Part of me really wants Kagome and Akiyama to hook up. I believe their chemistry would be beautiful and spark a great deal of angsty torment for Sesshoumaru. But the more your story progresses the more obvious it is that Sesshoumaru has grown up a bit since the Feudal Era. Wondering what happens next in the dreamscape is keeping me at the edge of my seat. That and hoping Kagome will make Sesshoumaru sincerely work for her affections. It's hard for me to believe a modern girl can fall in love (again?) on chemistry alone!

Little Sachimaru tried to fix things by himself--that was so sweet. I'm not sure if he has made the connection that the miko is his adopted mother or if he is going on instinct. As for the past, Sesshoumaru is being a world class jerk and I can see why being with Akiyama would be appealing. I mean, geez... we have 17 Chapters to get to this point. I'm just more for maintaining the family as it is. He's an inteloper, no matter how nice he may seem, and it's irritating how much he doesn't care about coming between Sesshoumaru and Kagome.

I sound cruel, but I wouldn't mind a sword getting thrust somewhere tight on that guy. Someone needs to teach him that families belong together, not torn apart by his selfish desires.

Anyway japan is amazing. I think I want to become a translator and move here. Everything is just so different its kinda hard to describe. but oh myy the food is amazing. every kind of food you could ever want is here. & I dont know if you like sushi but its everywhere. you can buy it in 7-11's and places like that and its as good as a restaurant.
and they have the best bakerys and instant ramen ever. I have will have lots of pictures when I get home too. Great, simply great. I loved the way Sesshoumru interacted with Kagome, their convesation was so well done, I loved the way that the present Sesshoumaru is seeing how foolishly he acted in the past and I realy like the decision that he took (that Kagome and Sachimaru will be in his life).

And that was a busy, busy chapter. Find a baby, bond with family, set a date, have international crisis, remember more of the past, etc....Amazing! At this point I don't think Sesshoumaru is kicking himself hard enough for all the mistakes he's made in the past. If Kagome were anyone else, I'd almost expect her to bless him out 6 ways from Sunday. I do hope she makes him a bit uncomfortable during the date. AH!! that is soo sweeet!! i wonder is sachimaru knows kagome is his real mom? he seemed to pick up on the whole sesshoumaru is my dad part, so... lol. well I definately think that kagome will give sessh another chance to redeem himself, she did like him in the past afterall, right? haha, well I guess you could say she liked him :-D I still am trying to figure out how the whole memory thing happened? maybe it was akiyama? was he trying to steal kagome's heart?? make her forget sesshoumaru and her pup??? oooo that's a good one.. maybe i'm getting close? lol.. this story is definately keeping me guessing! and wanting for more!!!! lol. well hmm you asked about the cone head on babies? ummmmm, well the baby's head has the fontanels or soft-spots and when the baby comes down through the pelvic bones and through the birth canal the head gets longer as the bones shift (the fontanels let the bones come closer because it's just a gap in the skull) but if the bones weren't able to move, then the baby's head would never fit. all babies have a cone-head when they come out, unless they were cut out in a c-section through the stomach. but the squeeze they get through the birth canal pushes the fluid out of their lungs so they can breath easier. it's really neat. and they always look so wierd, but it goes back to normal in like 2-3 days lol. well I think I answered your question? lol, please update soon!!!!!! I am sorry that I haven't reviewed for the last few chapters. First my computer was down and then we were out of town for a couple of weeks. I really missed this story. But then I got to read several chapters at once!!!

The dreams are so real, very fleshed out,. You keep the emotions running just as high in the dreams as you do in their real time. You are also keeping two major storylines ( with some extra little side ones) going strong and sure. This story flows like the jetstream. The action is intense, the information turns up in the most interesting places.

I really, really, really liked it when Sesshomaru fought Naraku and Inuyasha came to help. The brothers battleing together was just and endless cool.

I loved it when Sesshomaru met his son for the first time. As pissy as he can be, we all knew he would be a most excellent father.

Akiyama and Katsuo are very unique characters that are not just there for show. Katsuo has a history that would break any mothers heart. I just want to hug him...alot.

Akiyama is extraordinary in his manner with Sesshomaru and , respectively, with Kagome. I cannot wait to find out why he is courting Kagome. Does he really care or does he want something else.

Inuysha and Shiori have an interesting battle going on and I thought it was wonderful that Rin and Shippo got together. I also llike the interaction between Katsuo and Inuyasha.

I won't be away for a while so I will be able to review more often.

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on you nomination. You certainly deserve this for this is an honor to be able to read this kind of story.

I can't help but feel Akiyama has ulterior motives for wanting to mate Kagome. I mean he just seems like a sneaky, conniving youkai, not in a bad way, just in a way where he gets what he wants. Always count on children to speak the truth. I mean it might have never come out had Sachimaru not spoken out about Sesshomaru and Kagome’s relationship in the past. It must be frustrating for them, to know what they’re doing wrong and not being able to fix it, having to relive all their mistakes even though they know what they did wrong. Will Kagome ever meet Natsumi and Katsuo again? I mean they appeared to have grown very close in the past, but I wonder if there are still some rotten feelings about Kagome 'rutting' with Katsuo, because Natsumi doesn't know they actually didn't do anything. Or maybe she did, I mean youkai have superior senses and could probably sniff out a lie. Well anyways Sachimaru is safe and I’m happy, but of course another update would make me happier.

It's amazing, the writing the characters, and Moriko is a compleatly different youkai in this story, which is wonderful. Wow, Kagome is in some trouble, loosing her son, *ahem* Sesshomaru's pup.Lol. A fabulous start to what wonderful chapter and lest you dear author dismiss my love for this chapter on the appearance of that scrumptious aquatic pulchritude…think again.

This chapter was thoroughly enjoyable as the pieces begin to fit so nicely together, not to mention the lovely chaos that has become our stoic taiyoukai’s emotional side. Yes, without a catalyst our favourite canine has little to exorcise his rather vindictive, possessive and thoroughly emotional nature. Yes, that will frighten some and think me crazy, but he is extremely emotional, by virtue of not being allowed to be so when it hits him, it hits him hard. As it does in this chapter.

From the start, he questions his previous behaviour, repeatedly, and his possessiveness shows itself in other facets caring and concludes with bridled anger at his “mate’s” childcare techniques. Oh yes, the boy is fit to be tied. I love it.

Equally, I enjoyed Kagome’s convo with her mom from the last chapter and her finally realizing, though she fears and needs to protect her son and her own emotional stability, still she might just need to fess up and have a little faith …

If we ever missed the point of the title, one would have to be an ass to miss it now ***chuckle***.

Ooooooooooooh so Akiyama is in hot pursuit…oh dooooooooo tell…(wicked evil gossipy grin)…bring it on. The boy should not be allowed to have it his own way perpetually.

As for Inuyasha and a little ahhhh equipment failure…divine…and Sesshoumaru showing kindness, yes kindness towards his brother. Even better. Allowing Inuyasha grace. Very nice touch, not overdone.

Telling more, Feudal Kagome, snubbing Sesshy and realizing she missed the big delicious handsome dog…excellent.

Sesshoumaru’s sphincter clenching…stop laughing…when seeing the promenade taken by Inuyasha and the miko on a regular basis. Lovely.

Kagome nearly losing her mind at the loss of her son…however temporary even better. This should form a truce of sorts. Oh dear girl…I look forward to more…more of everything, more of the Naraku debacle, more of the Akiyama showing Kagome respect….the boy could take a page out of the watery puddings bible…damn I love that demon….never mind….and Sesshoumaru having to work for it, but equally, him calling her on not allowing him the grace to know his son…I have faith…infinite faith.

OOhh shit poor Gome losing a child even for a few minutes is hell for a mother more so than for a male(sess) who hasn't been around for all these years she should yell and open up a can of whoop-ass on him and then make him find sachimaru together with her the first test of him being a qualified father. That would be awesome if her miko flared at him from her emotions. Best chapter to date. I don't even mind the cliffie since it promises wonderful chapters ahead. I've completely fallen in love with this fic and can't wait to see the past clash with the future. The dreams seem to have a huge part of this story, but now the question is; who started them? Who was it that sealed their memories and why? Could perhaps Naraku have something to do with it? Seeing as he hasn't yet shown his pretty face in the past yet (as far as I remember).
It's gonna be really nice to see how Sesshoumaru deals with everything now that he has a rival in the present as well. :) Maybe that will put needed pressure on him. I wonder why he doesn't notice that Kagome lies to him. Or perhaps he does, and haven't had opportunity to face her about it yet. Those two really need to talk. He should tie her down to a chair and force her to listen, lol. XD

So rarely does Kagome's Mom get a staring role and I see much will come from that convo. Well done as always. It is patently clear that Sesshoumaru has emotionally evolved much over the centuries. So he recognizes he has a 'passing affection' for the miko does he? Interesting.

What made me laugh out loud was when the miko touched Inuyasha's ears which totally pissed off our taiyoukai. Hilarious. Equally as amusing was his sudden need to rend something on seeing the Miko with Katsuo. He had to work hard to rein himself in there. All proof positive of his feelings. Well done.

Modern Kagome's discovery that she did give birth was equally as fun to sit and read as well as her conversation with the taiyoukai who was showing extreme patience, by his standards. I laughed when I realized he missed her slip of the tongue. Undoubtedly when he does have the opportunity to go over the conversation..he will connect the dots. No surprise really re her pregnancy, have just been waiting patiently for you to get there (chuckle).

A glorious chapter to a wonderful story as always...now, for their next meeting. NOW THAT, I cannot wait for. Brava!

Oh WOW. I knew she'd end up preggers, but I didn't think that he'd figure it out. Ok...Elle...you got me feeling angry, frustrated and with the feeling of strangling someone's neck...if it could be the one of the Taiyoukai it would be so much better!!!

Her gaze dropped to his lips and she froze. Kami, what those lips could do, she thought before she realized what she was doing. Her breath caught in her throat as flashes of the mating instantly came to mind. She bit her lips when her mind supplied her with the image of his body glistening with a sheen of moisture as he pumped into her, while she gasped his name.

Sigh…oh yes…I do so like the visual…yes, about that review. Yes I am a bit of a horrid little hentai, are you now just realizing this? Silly girl.

I thought it an excellent chapter as always…oh and congratulations on the nomination by the guild. Those skilled should be acknowledged, as they say those that can, DO…those that can’t well…less said the better. Oh and while we are on topic of jealousy, it does takes so many forms, as does betrayal. Wonderfully crafted chapter and as always you never insult your audiences intelligence. Emotions run rampant and foil the usual thinking mind. Anyone who has experienced real hurt, never thinks rationally and it is only when far removed do they get their sensibilities back.

You know what I found….Sesshoumaru proved most interesting in this particular chapter..He is so fighting the tactician and the logical side of himself that he misses the obvious…all those tell tale feelings he is unused to and hence chooses to dismiss.

Kagome does one thing rather interesting, even truly feeling his seeming emotional betrayal, she never allowed herself to dishonour him by giving Katsuo details as to what exactly went wrong. She remained loyal to the taiyoukai despite the hurt…very telling.

Now to the modern Kagome, she caught a clue with her encounter with Sesshoumaru…two clues actually, the petulant familiar look from Sachimaru ..and that of the realization she still had feelings for the modern version of the taiyoukai…as is readily apparent by his perusal of her…Wooooooof! Hehehehe…okay focus! Interesting. Very.

Sesshoumaru took it just as hard as Kagome, what you need to do, is accept that they will always process differently. He is a demon and his sensibilities by manner of birth rank and era will always be different than that of a ningen. In the end, both felt the betrayal…

I personally want to bitch slap the taiyoukai, but all in good fun.Hell there are times I wish to slap modern Kagome lol. One of the nicest things of not writing by A B and of course C must follow, is allowing the audience, believing in your audience to follow the path of the piece to its own conclusions as your vision entails. I digress, if A was always followed by B we all would share the same vision of the world and this particular tale…and just how absolutely positively boring would that be.

Keep going, we love what you are doing as your copious reviews hold. The good of the many as they say. You are one talented writer. We love your vision and your version of this feudal tale. Bravissimo. There is room for all. Just imagine how you are inspiring others as we speak, to put up or shut up and write their own imagined versions. There is an audience for all.

I was right, Sesshomaru is an IDIOT with the way you are writing him. For someone with a strong sense of smell, I'm supposed to believe he can't tell the difference between arousal and the smell of sex. And from what you wrote, Kagome wasn't even naked, so that should have been another clue they didn't do anything, since I doubt Katsou would have been that quick to dress them both if they had done it. This is so not worth reading anymore, because I can't stand idiotic Sesshomaru. If you do read how he's written, it's not stubborness nor aloofness, just plain idiocy. I've change my mind and feel the need to congratulate you for having the tongue in cheek mindset to turn the plot on its ear, and not do the expected. There is nothing more boring to my mind than doing what is perpetually expected. I laughed much in reading his solution. There are times, that his linear thought patterns amuse, completely neglecting to believe someone else might have a thought different to that of his - as if that actually matters. He has noooooooo idea who he is dealing with does he *snort*? Your choice of language remains adroit as usual, he needs to put the most clinical face on it for many reasons, and his choice of her cheating partner says much. It is more for his own benefit than hers, it allows him a kind of grace in the breaking of the bond and would give him the emotional distance required. Hence his choice. Well done, subtle as always. I love it, you have a wonderful understated sense of humour. I look forward to the next chapter well done.

I sincerely hope you don't have Kagome go through with it, otherwise I don't think I'm going to bother to read anymore. I could only hope that you don't have her cheat on him, and something else is thought of and used. Maybe sorcery; or it could possibly be that they stay mated, until Inuyasha is freed, then he and Kagome strike up a friendship, but causes Sesshomaru to think there is something more that it breaks the bond between them because of a misunderstanding. Of course, it thats what happens, then he is an idiot. But now I'm starting to think that Naraku might have something to do with it. Kind of like what he did in the series between Inuyasha and Kikyo. Or maybe the jewel is a part of this 'web' as well. Who knows? Like I said before, there just better be no cheating at all, because that would just ruin this story. Kagome and Sesshoumaru: Two of the most stubborn people on the planet. It is funny the way they are so different but they end up behaving in a similar manner. I am dreading the part where Sesshoumaru has to betray their bond. With the connection they already have and supposedly don't want, there is no way that such a betrayal will not hurt Kagome, perhaps it will hurt Sesshoumaru too.

Needless to say, the Feudal couples mating was perfect, loved Kagome in particular in her handling of the situation and the surprised Sesshoumaru wonderfully done, sexy, but distant meaning somewhat third person, as it is a memory. One suspects, when the two ACTUALLY get together in the modern world, there will be a difference. I know you get what I am saying. What was most important where the feelings elicited more so than the act in their case, and the sudden realization that they were truly mated on both their respective modern parts.

Modern Kagome’s guilty feeling of abandoning the pompous ass with his arm was well depicted, and yet, his reaction to her showing her maturity was equally wonderfully executed. Good,the boy needs more comupancing so to speak *wink*.

Everything is progressing interestingly, and, as always, slowly enough that it doesn't feel rushed. By the same factor, it doesn't feel unneccesarily drawn out, either. Can't wait for more.

Sesshoumaru’s sudden guilt and taking the time to take the Miko patrolling was wonderful. He is seeing her as being, and he does feel for her being cooped up for two months. The Western Lord found a way to fulfill his duties and yet have her company, and please her at the same time. The run in with the Demon Slayers and our introduction to Sango was very cleverly done. I particularly liked the reality check of having him pretty much off the young male slayer and the “rock and a hard place” situation Kagome found herself in trying to decide which way to go. I think it telling that Sesshoumaru, took choice away from her, wonder if he has figured out why yet…love the sleeping lap…but you know me hehehehehehe…I do have a warped unrepentant sense of humour.

Now to the modern duo, I have always loved your action sequences tremendously, again, much in the way of clever introductions of Goshinki…hmmm can Toukijin be far behind *wink*.

And finally, Kagome the paramedic’s little stand off with Sesshoumaru sans arm, well done Kagome.

You know, each chapter gets better and better and I tick off those days of 5 to the next chapter in this marvelous unfolding mystery.

Oh one thing, Sesshoumaru has finally acknowledged that these are not dreams but lost memories outright. I have a strong feeling now that he has managed to be able to bring himself to consciousness with said forgotten memories he will do the same with Kagome’s memories as well. Why do I have this distinct feeling that chibi Sesshy (Sachimaru) is going to factor quite soon. As it stands with all the dangers currently present it only fits, that the small one is kept away….Naraku would greatly enjoy his presence…then again, it would be the last thing he did lol.

I have never seen Kagome in such a recent quandry and I love it, equally that of the modern Lord of The Western Lands.

Always one to face things directly. I loved the pasts Sesshoumaru's style in quelling Kagome's fears and leaving her wanting and breathless. GOOD ON YOU SESSHY....discovering his own feelings too.

Amusing point, re the modern Sesshoumaru...who clearly is pissed as being seen as OLD. LOLOL! That made me laugh a lot.

I finally had the opportunity to sit down and read this. I was beginning to feel guilty that you kept sending it to me, but I wasn't reading it or reviewing. So here I am. I stayed up until 1:30 AM so that I could finish this. I have to say that I'm loving it so far.

This story has a very different feel than A Simple Legacy. It's not a bad feeling, just different. I like how you changed all the personalities around. It makes it so much more interesting for me because I don't know what to expect all the time with these different ones.

Keep writing, I'll be keeping up this time.

Chapter 7 is jam packed and I thoroughly enjoyed it to the hilt.

Where to begin… you continue to weave an enthralling tale of eternal love, as yet still unfolding with a healthy does of humour and mystery mixed in.

I laughed myself into near apoplexy at poor Sesshoumaru’s being forced to explain to the Miko that …she bonded him. Great dialogue as always. This chapter had something new added, Kagome’s slow sexual awakening and response to the bond she now shared – involuntarily with the Icy Lord.

Particularly enjoyed his discomfort whilst practicing with her…and hers…that has to be the sexiest male navel, NOT in existence (wink)…and his observations of her as well. Yes, the heat is rising on both sides…subtly.

I also took note, that though he did have the very best of intentions to get the hell away from the frustrating girl…the bond keeps pulling them inextricably together, including the hilarious bit in the hot springs. I felt so sorry for the warrior. Equally felt for Kagome’s frustrations…how dare he place his delicious person so close. The poor girl was having a hard enough time trying to find a solution. Something telling happened in his study when forced with the somewhat good news that there was a way out of this unhallowed mess…he was truly annoyed at her offence in rutting with him…could it be there was a subsconscious reason? Only time will tell us that detail…It seems to me, he spends more time contemplating the miko as an individual, it is subtle but there. Still autocratic…but now, feelings are surfacing on both sides and he is gaining empathy with her predicament….ahhh Sesshy…the ice, it begins to thaw.

Hilarious moment between Sesshoumaru and Shiori. How time may have passed but he remained the autocratic taiyoukai.

Kagome’s impromptu lesson with her darling little chibi was also interesting..hn where would she have learned that skill set? A mystery.

Finally! They meet…now, it gets delicious….write on dear author. I love your voice and enjoy your style of writing.

Well, what do I think of this chapter and story? Disappointment. Your Simple Legacy stories had me riveted each chapter and always wanting to the read the next one; and had characters with depth and emotion. This story is sub-par. While Kagome and Sachimaru, who I hope is Kagome's biological son, are alright, Sesshomaru is a different matter. He's simply a cold demon with only sex on his mind. Do you realize how much of his thoughts are on sex? And now the only way to break the bond is betrayal, with infidelity the ultimate act of it. If he's going to cheat on her, it does prove how much he thinks of sex and how far you've gone down from the way you had written him in the Simple Legacy. I understand that you don't want to write him the same in every story, but he is so one-dimensional, it's sad. I had such high hopes for this story after reading the Simple Legacy, thats it's disheartening. I hope if one does betray the other that it's not from infidelity. If someone does, specifically Sesshomaru, then this is not worth reading anymore, even though it's a struggle right now with the way Sess is written.

DId you know this story is very similar to Yabou's "Frustration of the Sexual Persuasion"? It had the same thing of telling a story in the present and the past. Thought you should know.

First I like to say you are so wrong for the cliffy! But I do have to say it was a great chapter. You brought a lot of things to light. I know the next chapter will be really good and juicy! But I still say you have a sick sense of humor leaving us hanging like that! LOL ")

I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. We are right in the thick of things and these “ahem” dreams, which are in actuality, I feel anyway, returning memories. Perhaps someone has cast a spell that is wearing off hmmm? Anyway, I loved it cause it had all the necessary elements for friction. Kagome’s sense of rightness and humanity, which is in complete contrast to the naughty handsome puppies seeming indifference to the universe….the old oil and water aspect of their personalities, a good donnybrook, intentioned and not, and a good dose of jealousy to leave the boy off kilter and Kagome’s ever present need to take him down a peg. All the makings for a fun filled chapter. LOOOOOVED IT.

Yes, things are progressing nicely. Kagome’s interaction with Katsuo was particularly revealing and I wanted to smirk, when Sesshy went at break neck speeds to quell his curiosity and then the “training” and his discovery that the Miko could ‘actually’ read and proved rather nice company….EGADS!. Kagome’s emotional outbursts are priceless. Most interestingly, she finally acknowledges that he is a bit of a hottie…and her prattling on with questions about his would be mating…was more than just curiosity…but she needs to find that out the hard way (wicked evil grin). Subconsciously, I don’t think she liked ‘someone’ pissing on her property. Even if she won’t as of yet acknowledge said property.

Almost peed my shorts with laughter when she bellowed :”What”?!?! to Natsumi’s innocent and somewhat incredulous answer re mating celebration.

I could just imagine, the tall drink of water wanting to disappear straight under the table at that moment. He did so try to keep this ‘tiny’ detail from the Miko and now he would have to deal *snicker*.

Oh and then there is the recognition factor of the younger Inu-No-Taisho.. interesting response indeed from our InuYasha, the story’s resident skank LOLOL!

I was two chapters behind and just got caught up I am looking forward to the next chapter I love the dreams the most!

Let me tell you something right off the bat. I LOVE THIS STORY. Oh yes, it has me creating a new part in my hair with constant scratching…and the mandatory furrowed brow, but it is all about the intrigue.

I am rather pleased with Kagome’s general feistiness. That big handsome self involved puppy needs a good slap literally and figuratively every now and then and she is giving as good as she is getting. GOOD GIRL! However, being a Hentai, I was rather pleased with the “tussel” between the two in his chambers, this chapter and last for that matter. Ooooooh and declared him mate, unbeknownst to her. I could just imagine the consternation on his face not to mention blind rage. GOOD GIRL!

Any scene with those two always sends off sparks and you write it so very very well.

Hn, the story gets better each chapter. I still remain somewhat clueless, but at this point, no longer care, I am going with the flow, and flow it does. Sigh..

OMG ... that's a good one ... took her against her will and now needs to make her his mate because the SERVANTS are talking?? Whoa. Y'know, I'm getting the feeling that I know (or THINK I know) what's behind all tis, but I'm gonna sit back and wait for the next chapter or so to see if I'm right. The last time I did that guessing thing, I was so far off it was pathetic!!

Hmmm ... the one thing I WILL guess at is that Natsumi is having dreams too, isn't she? And Mama Higurashi has some DEFINITE reasons for Kags to stay away from the well, doesn't she?? Yuppers, all seems to be coming together now. And I still feel really dense for the first two chapters, but I really do think I'm close on this one.

As always, well-written, well-planned and just the right amount of suspense, I think. Not enough to qualify as a total cliff-hanger, but oh-so-close!! Again, thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable read!!

As with "A Simple Legacy," I strongly suspect that this one is not going to be so "simple," right? Another wonderfully written chapter that I'm sure everyone enjoyed reading..I know I did!! I was pretty surprised at how Sesshomaru tested Kagome...ripping her clothes off and stuff. Oh well. He did learn about Kagome's growing power, which I was surprised about as well. It seems she has been growing very fast in her control over her powers...they destroyed everything in the room, even Sesshy's shirt. Yummy!! I had a feeling Natsumi thought that Kagome was forced by Sesshomaru....it was how she asked her when Kagome got back to her room. Now they both have tons of rumors spreading about them...and they want Sesshomaru to mark her as his mate too. Heheh...I bet he's kind of stressed out about those opinions. I wonder who let out that nasty poison at that lab...probably Naraku. Poor Sesshomaru....he has that poison and rumors about demons that he has to deal with now. Plus all of those dreams that he has been having. I found that really cute at how Kagome has been telling her dreams as a story to Sachimaru. I wonder what will happen at the Demon Carnival that they are going to soon too. Oh yeah....and I wonder where Kagome will get that new job she's looking for. Maybe her and Sesshomaru will bump into each other at that wonderful carnival too. Hmm...all the possibilities....I can't wait! Update again soon!! :D

LOL! The "dream" appears to be growing moe vivid. Funny how Kagome has won over the Feudal household and everyone is indirectly fighting for her honour, though nothing has been done against it. Looking forward to how this is cleared up. Also looking forward to Kagome in this dimension finally running into Sesshoumaru. They keep circling...yet not meeting. Loved the bedtime story and her mother's emphatic need for her NOT to go to the well. Want to know what is up with InuYasha and Shiori and the troubles Akiyama is experiencing. The weave to the web is getting thicker. Well done. Though I need for Sesshy and Kagome to interact...if for now other reason, than I love how they crackle off each other as characters.

Sorry that I didn't comment on the second chapter...but I still enjoyed it!! I loved this one too. I wonder if the present Sesshomaru remembers Kagome from the past...or whatever the present Kagome is dreaming about. I wonder how the past Sesshomaru is going to punish her for not telling him of her improvement too. I really liked "The Simple Legacy" trilogy, and I'm liking this one, even if it's a little confusing at first, but I'm getting the hang of it. My only complaint is this line, "It seemed that he had gone far too long without satisfying his carnal demands. He should have sought the company of a female long before then." Seriously, what's the point of putting that line? I was into the chapter, then I read that, and all I could think was 'is that really needed?'. It sounds like a lot of other stories I've read, so does it mean because you wrote that, he will sleep with other women just to show he's not attracted to her, like others do? I hope not, because you are giving that impression you will, and that ploy is getting repetitive. Even if you don't do that, just using that line was repetitive. I'm not trying to sound mean, but I was hoping to read something where I don't see the usual things in descriptions of Sesshomaru. Anyway, other than that, your story is very good and original, and I do enjoy your detail in writing.

all you have to do is replace it. Take the script that you want, and put it in the "browse" box... The only other thing I can tell you to do is to contact the author of "A Sentinel Mother". That author had a similar problem but took care of it easily.

You can't remove the blank chapter without deleting the whole fic. One of the little quirks here. I suggest just leaving a little 'oops' note (like you did), and just replacing it with the next chapter next time you update.

ah! wonderful! still very interesting! oh!! i wonder if they will meet at the carnival?!?! haha..and what will happen if they do?? lol! yesh i looover this story too!! haha, you have a wonderful knack of getting me all caught up in the characters! you make it feel like your right there with them, experiencing the things they do... like that movie "being john malkovich" without the whole creepy thing. lol weeeeel anyways! :-D yes i am so happy i graduated! yes i have put in some applications, and i have one interview at the medical center in labor and delivery in the morning! bah! that might be why i can't sleep i'm about to fidget to death from being nervous! lol, i have hit the backspace so many times it's not even funny lol. but yeah the hospital is huge! it's a level 1 trauma center in central georgia and hmm i think overall it has 5 4-story parking complexes that go to the main building which takes up about 5 blocks by itself. then the heart center is next to it and the children's hospital too. so all together with garages and all i'd say the massive 20-floor hospital takes up oohhh... 10blocks? haha yes yes i am VERY nervous! i'm this small town chickie who knows how it is to get caught behind a tractor on the highway! haha... ah but yes thanks for the congrats! i have been lazing off this weekend! no homework lol! although i have been wracking my brain trying to find a place to stay that allows pets... i had no idea that so many places didn't allow them! haha. well tata! update soon!! oh p.s. Yay another story...I'm so excited about it too!! Lets see...so Kagome is having dreams about falling into the well and becoming a prisoner...and she was in a coma for two years. That sounds a little suspisious...I wonder what caused her to sleep so soundly. Thats odd that she found Sachimaru by the well too...and he doesn't remember anything about his past. When you first introduced Sachimaru, I remember thinking he was a young Sesshomaru..because of his names, looks, and the cresent moon, etc. Hmm...I sense a connection or something there. I wonder who Kougra brought to seal the deal with Sesshomaru is...kind of sounded like Kagome in her dream. I wonder what will happen next...update again soon :D
