...I really don't know when was the last time I logged in here...or even read a fanfic...I've been just so busy with college and everything that involves it, that finally today I kinda had a mental breakdown and went to sleep. While I was in bed I suddenly remembered you and this story. So I logged my lap and searched for MNH...

Brilliant! Well worth the wait. You have my mind thoroughly engaged as to why her powers chose to surface. Firmly believe it has to do with the conversation with Kouga and her sudden realization of who and what she is, in the true maturing sense. She needs to make a decision, a choice and until such time that she can, she is, subconsciously avoiding temptation. The entire scene with Sesshoumaru’s POV was extraordinarily well done, and sad. I enjoyed it immensely. I feel sorry for all parties concerned really. Well done Omi. Very well done. Looking forward to more, and yes, working with you in the new year. I haven't been able to read so my brain went on a mantege of fics that rated highly with sex and Sesshoumaru. This is one of your fics I admire the most. Heck, I love all your fics but this one just seems so touching. I feel so bad for Sess in this. I could not have given up the one I love to another unless I knew that's what my lover wanted. It's wonderful to see another chapter, although I seem to be on a reading only sad chapters streak. It perfectly captures the "be careful what you wish, it may come true." Now that Inuyasha is there, Kagome seems to be in love with Sesshoumaru. She did spend a lot of time grieving over the way Inuyasha got rid of her. One can only wallow so long before moving on with life. Despite how Sesshoumaru is willing to do the honorable thing and step aside, I believe Kagome will quickly realize that Sesshoumaru is the demon for her.

Woow. So ive seen this story again and again and I hadnt gotten around to reading it now. Its basically an amazing story. Im not a big inuyasha fan but I love how you portrary him and him smoking a joint made me laugh.

I have to say that after reading this fic I have put my foot in my ass so many times, it'not even funny anymore. You have no idea how many times I have come across this story and didn't read it. I am SOOO ashamed of myself. This is one of THE BEST fics I have EVER read, (and I have read so darn good fics)

OMG! I thought for sure i had lost this fic, it was absolutely devastating, i could not for the life of me recall the name nor author. i assure you that i shall not forget again.
At this moment i sit at my computer heart thudding in my chest, my mind screaming in disbelief that another chapter does not wait one click away; eyes brimming with tears of joy at the reunion between Inuyasha and Kagome but tears of sadness as well at how Sesshoumaru just gave her away!
Yes of course we all know Kagome is supposed to be with Inuyasha. But it is due to our belief as fanfiction writers that Sesshoumaru would be a much better match that leads us, especially great master writers such as yourself to weave beautiful tales, wonders within themselves of how the two should finally come together.
Very few fanfics have been able to cause me to react emotionally to the story, but 'Much Needed Healing' has no trouble doing just that. Those who have berated you for lack of smut, are obviously hentais who have no appreciation for true Fanfic Literature and should be ashamed of themselves for implying that good fanfiction cannot exist without excessive porn. I happen to think that there is nothing wrong with the amount of smut you have included and that it is tasteful in its relevance to the relationship between Sesshoumaru and Kagome.
needless to say i am quite in love with this fic, and i can only aspire that someday one of my fics will be held in such high regard.
i wish you well writing and a constant muse as you continue to bless your fans with this glorious tale.

I forgot to tell you how I enjoyed The Dress chapter. I loved Kagome's excitement for shopping and I found Sesshoumaru's reaction towards the dress very sensual and manly. Inuyasha has changed from what Kagome remember and vise versa so it is going to be very interesting. He sound like a fun, carefree playboy who loves to smoke pot with a guilty conscience of his past actions. :-)

I don't know of the problems that you incured with the site but I'm so happy that you and Nile-sama are working it through. It would be such a great lose not have your work posted here. In my estimation A Single Spark is the best Sess/Kag site totally dedicated to this pairing. So many writers have been down rated and harassed here for no good reason. I have seen MANY fics that are highly rated in every category when truthfully the scores are WAY off and those that actually DO deserve high scores have the opposite. I believe that someone or someones do this to annoy and discourage you from continuing your fics. I pity these people because they must be very self centered, lonely people not to want to give credit where credit is due. Most of the people I have encountered here on ASS.net have been some of the kindest and caring folks around. I may not be a writer but when one of you get hurt by jealous, malicious people I feel for you because you have been so blessed with a talent that should be encouraged and nurtured with appreciation. Each one of you are such a gift to me as I am practically confined to my home and my bed. You gifted writers give me a world of adventure out of the pain and lonliness that disabilities cause. I tell this to each one of you that I have come to love and appreciate this because you need to know how special you all are. And as for the migraines, I too suffer chronic migraines. I admire your determination to push on but please listen to your body's signals. I neglected that and at too young an age ended up disabled. Thank God I have my little family that still loves me and helps me cope. The ratings have nothing to do with the hosting. It is a simple side script that Winter added to this site... which is her script. The site had been off and on last month, but it has been 100% up since June 15... not even 1 second down, even from outside webhost analysis programs (which post Host Solutions stats for the public.) I recommend this script far more than others and have been working on a fanfiction site myself to open soon that I have kept mum on what it will revolve around.

If there are immature people rating your story, believe me, other people fair the same treatment... even me... one of the co-owners.

I hate to say this, but I agree with you. As Inuyasha has become more and more popular with the younger crowds more people have decided to try their hand at writing and reviewing other people's work. Sadly, this does not mean an increase in readable fanfiction and instead means readers must dig through the hay stack for that proverbial needle. I am glad, however, to say, that you are one of those few needles who actually manages to prick my interest and, even more surprising, keep it. So far, I have not felt that I am rereading a work that has been remade over and over again generally becoming worse for the wear as grammar fails and intelligence in the author disappears. I am sorry to hear that you might leave this site, but do keep me informed of where you go.

Ok, so you know, I thought this was one fantastic chapter to kick off the reunion and confrontation leading to oh so much Kagome kicking butt. InuYasha has barely grown up at all. Instead he's actually like a juvenile delinquent though he's old enough to know better...wayyyy older. But he's still comical as always. At least his definition of brain cells showed that Sesshoumaru was correct in his comment that "the shit" would kill his brain cells. Hey, does InuYasha even HAVE any kids? Just a thought...not that that would have any impact on his anal mentallity or his lack of any proper adult like actions. I know way too many of my baby boomer era to this day still do drugs while critizing there kids " to do as they say and not as they do" sort of thing. So...anyway, continue on and don't mind my incessent ramblings as it is nearing my bedtime and my daughter says I never do know when to shut up. I've been keeping up with this and The Telling as much as possible. Its hard for me to tell which one I like more, different as they are. Instead of reviewing for each, I just thought I would make one big one - I've sort of put off reviewing for a while, because I'm lazy. For this, the first thing that comes to mind is how bad I feel for Kouga, because he's totally Sesshoumaru's bitch. The second, how much of an effect some bad timing by Inuyasha can have. I rather like the fact that you refrain from demonizing (no pun intended. No, seriously, that was an accident) Inuyasha - it takes skill to prove that Sesshoumaru is the better man without cheating by making Inuyasha a total dickhead. Other favorite thing about Healing - there's emotion, not just lust, and a very nice reason for Kagome and Sesshoumaru's meeting and subsequent sex. Its nifty. The Telling (aptly named, I might add) is also great because of all the stuff that ISN'T always in stories - Miroku and Sango, for example. Usually they're just anime versions of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, but there they actually have personality (and heretofore unknown powers - OSUWARI!). It too, is nifty. Now for some critiques. There has to be some, right? Somewhere... *roots through praise pile* AHA! Uh... Too much sex? No no no, that doesn't work. Huh. No, Much Needed Healing is sort of hard to attack. Damn. The Telling however... *buries self in pile* ...CRAP! I tried. I really did. Maybe something bad will come to me later, but right now I can't think of anything. I'm so disappointed in myself.

Can't wait to see what Inuyasha's pot-smoking excuse is for not trying to find Kagome until...oh...4 years after he traps her in the future. In 500 years he didn't figure out that separating her from her first love, second family and duty would devistate her? Peter Pan syndrome anyone?

Hey I'm not the one that invented Polyandry! It's not unheard of for two brothers to share the same wife or wives in common! It was quite wide spread actually. I've read a number of books that touched upon the subject. Even wikipedia stakes: "polyandry has occurred in Tibet, the Canadian Arctic, Zanskar, Nepal, Ladakh, the Jaunsar region in Uttarakhand, India, Toda of South India,the Nymba, Nishi and Sri Lanka. It is also encountered in some regions of Mongolia, China (especially Yunnan- the Mosuo people), and in some Subsaharan African and American indigenous communities. ". It's just a suggestion. I am in total agreement with you. As often as you are updating the length of the chapters have not been a real problem. You could always give them what they want and only update once a week and by combining 3 or 4 chapters to make one they would have their longer chapters. Well seeing as InuYasha is abroad then I just knew Kouga had to be the one to interupt them. He was tailing Sesshoumaru after all and I also figured you would at some very soon point in time have to have a chapter without smut. I actually started reading this on another site and I don't remember if I reviewed it or not so I'm going to start posting my reviews here so as not to confuse myself.{Late night reading and medications can do nasty things to the memory} I really like this fic. You are quite a good writer and the lemons were very tastefully done. I totally loved the confusion and conflict going on within Sesshoumaru. Yes, he is an honorable guy but to try and deny his own emotions when he's never found a female to bring these feelings out from him is just being too honorable. She was not mated to his brother and so that left her open for any male to claim her affections. And go Kagome for not backing down and forcing him to admit he wanted her. She let InuYasha go once too often and maybe if she had actually told him her feelings and showed him more affection {other than cooking and bandaging his wounds} then maybe he would have moved past the youthful love he had with Kikyou and seen that Kagome could love him so much more because she accepted that him for what and who he was. I don't hate Kikyou and I understand she only wanted a "normal" life and love but please, when that right someone comes along you don't try to change them and what others think is irrelevent. InuYasha was noble to send her back home and he proved he loved her by doing so but that act alone didn't say he was in love with her or that he was claiming her in any way. It's a total shame that she couldn't get past her grief and that she chose alcohol to deaden the pain. It's an easy thing to fall into as alcohol dependency just seems to creep up on you until you don't even realize it's a problem. My family has gone through such things so I know it's effects. Kagome waking up without withdrawals is a good sign but that doesn't always mean instant recovery. Like any drug dependency, alcohol addiction must be taken seriously. I hope you don't just brush it under the table like it was an easy thing to stop because she is human after all. So, this fic is one that I will be looking in on for updates and I can't wait to see what direction you will take it in. You have talent and I'd love to read your poetry sometime. So, TTFN and thanks for recommending your other fics. I'd be happy to read those as well. Jen

OMG! What an Easter's present. I clock on the story and I find out that I was several chapters behind, well that was a nice suprise! I love this story, I love the way it's heading to and I loved the lemon, though it was short.

How is Koga going to react when he finds out Kagome is near? How will Sesshomaru react when he fears competence (I hope there will be) How will Kagome react when she finds out Inuyasha is alive? Why did he not come and look for her? Is he mated? The elongation of Sesshomaru's fangs mean that he has chosen a mate? Ahhh! So many questions!!

So I see redemption is in order. I like the tone and context of this story, and had to snicker under my breath at Sesshoumaru-sama's solution to her potential evening trysts lol. Yes, I can well imagine a tall lethal being staring one down with a less than favourable glare bidding you a good night or how best to keep your nether regions in tact by leaving Kagome's residence. So far, so good. I can well see redemption for both parties not to mention...I love Kouga's introduction lol, he always makes me smile, perpetually and always failingly in pursuit of "his woman"....Oh tall, handsome, aristocratic, arrogant one, you have your work cut out for you...perhaps you too will be redeemed...Nicely done Moondoggie!

Why need there be a comparison to be both works? A darker voice is expressed here and no one defined style is the be all. Having said this, I quite like this piece, the forever pubescent story lines of first love is all fine and well, but maturity and life and its experiences and how it colours one should indeed count for something too.

I rather like this aspect ALSO, not instead of. I look forward to seeing how you play out this and the plotline to it. I can tell it promises to be intriguing as it unravels itself. A very nice start. Thanks for giving Kagome, something other than her eternally “perkitude” sometimes…diamonds do go back to the rough, to eventually come back to their sparkling ineffable beauty.

Oh and lest we forget….sigh…Sesshy…basically on target as always…yeah..well…I am like that…gotta love the Fluffy One, in all his aristocratic “stick up my cute fanniness”. Just makes you want to pinch him is all.

It's sad that kagome is like that, but to find out that the person you love loves you too, but wont let you stay with them because of it and tells you to wait for them and hope they live that long. I'm not sure if I like The Telling better, but I'm enjoying this story very much. It's quite natural for anybody to react the way Kagome does when Inuyasha doesn't come to her when she returns from feudal Japan. I wonder what happened to him and if Sesshomaru had something to do with whatever happened. If Sesshomaru killed Inuyasha that would add more angst to the story.
