great ending! I kinda hoped that it would go on forever, though :) Good that it did have an ending because I would never get anything done :P

This is actually the second time I've read this; I got halfway through the first chapter of the first part and realised that I'd read it before but had to keep reading anyway. I would love to know what happens after- if Kagome lives long enough to see her family again or if she writes them a letter with instructions that it is to be read on a certain date or something. Well, now I'm off to read the other stuff you've written!

(I actually dropped all work on my fic for the past few days to read it all, time for eating and sleeping notwithstanding.) It was . . . exquisite. Very rarely do I find authors that seem able to balance the elements of romance, action, humor and tragedy both equally and fluidly, but you have done an amazing job of it. I also enjoyed the fact that some of your phrasing reflects your UK upbringing- reminds me of how my mother speaks. Thank you for working so hard on this, it was utterly enjoyable.

Oh wow. The first part, the last two parts, were amazing, and I loved every single bit of it. That's all I can really say about it. I loved it so much I pretty much had to lock myself up in my room for two and half days to read it. *coughs*

Okay, so I haven't gotten to the sex scene yet, but let me tell you, I am reeeal excited for it. Normally, with the style of writing you have and the fact that there's been so little sexual tension up until the recent two chapters, I would think your sex scenes would be kinda iffy, but I read Simply Hard (title makes me laugh every time!) and it was really good, not to mention the scene where Sesshoumaru gets injected with aphrodisiac... dear lord. Maybe this sounds really insulting or silly, but it's a genuine complement. I was still going to finish reading your story, even if I wasn't too excited about the lemon/s because your writing is clear and your character developement is both believable and engaging. This is just me letting you know that now I'm really excited.

And I said 'really excited' about four times now... anyway... yay!

I just wanted to say that I was really impressed with this story. I was looking at all of the winners for the annual awards, and I came by this one. I ended up reading the one-shot you did to compliment this first and enjoyed your writing style very much, and so I decided to read this fic. This goes for all parts of this story: It was wonderful! Everyone was in character, the original characters were all interesting to see grow over the course of the story, and your style of writing is great. You had some problems with tenses, but everyone does, I think. Just your 'he had's and such. I was sad that Eiko died, cause it woulda been nice to see that relationship end happily, but not all endings can be happy, someone had to lose, I guess. Anyway, like I said, goes for all parts. *applauds* bravo! that was a great ride! i must say i didn't see the whole eiko-who-happens-to-be-akiyama's-mate-to-be-turned-into-an-evil-sword-for-the-evil-neko-youkai-bad-guy aspect coming! i feel bad for the guy. i liked the semi-lemon you had in the chapter. i think you did a good job in capturing the moment as a whole and not just the physical action of the event. i found the last scenes to be funny. i enjoyed kagome's punishment! lol i don't know if i would've cooperated so well as kagome did but i guess there wasn't much choice in the matter right? i thought that was a very creative punishment. and the whole competition between sesshoumaru and inuyasha regarding who can have the most children? *rolls eyes* males! i don't mind the whole "let's see who's the bigger man..." deal but don't let it involve having your significant other be big and swollen for a couple months with bouts of morning sickness and hormonal imbalance! if i was kagome i would'e preferred them trying to beat the crap out of each other. and i love the whole name issue. thought that was funny. shouldn't come as a suprise though considering what sesshoumaru's name means! lol

anywayz, i loved the fic from the beginning to the end. loved every aspect of it and i had a great time seeing the developing relationship between our youkai lord and miko. although i hope that your next fic won't take them a billion chapters to finally see what the hell is going on! lol well, even if it did, i'd still read it. looking forward to the next fic you got! take care and great work!

awww, i liked the ending. so sugary sweet and satisfying. i was glad that this story was not one of those tales of "love at first sight" and their relationship actually developed slowly, like how it's supposed to. *Sigh*

Two of my favourites have ended this week, yours being the second to. Entirely different voices, and yet, thoroughly satisfying. I want to take this time to thank you for six months of very hard work and total bliss on the reading end. I think we should always say thank you for those who bestow us joy 

I found the ending marvelous. A thorough sense of completion. The destruction of that horrid hanyou, Inuyasha’s acknowledgement and acceptance of his place in the Inu-Taisho clan, the completion of Sesshoumaru’s soul, yes, his soul’s completion, and Kagome finding her home and her happiness, with all its ups and downs, and even the elemental, finding his own conclusion, and as life would have it, said, is not always pleasant, but such is life.

I printed it off in joy at work, when I checked in today to see if any of my babies where updated, then settled in and read and was well pleased. Thank you for a marvelous addition to this ongoing Feudal Fairy Tale. I look forward to whatever strikes your muses’ fancy in the future.

P.S. And as for the sphincter clenching…hehehehehe…yeah, Sesshy and his command to the elemental youkai to rule the Northern Lands LOLOL…what a bitch! He really doesn’t want him within an inch of his woman LOLOL! Oh, likin the punishment! Souls did merge…beautifully…as expressed in a subtle way with simply eye contact, constant eye contact in their union. It says much..beyond carnal wakening..but of souls. I for one am incredibly glad that you have taken such time and care with the development of your story and it's characters. I cannot think of another fanfic writer that I enjoy more than you... Ok...all that aside, I can wax emotional after your last chapter..This one was great, you are tying up the ends rather nicely. And I really like that your Kagome understands that Sess will never be your typical "mate" he will never spout poetry or go on tirades of "I love yous". She understands and accepts, and in that you have captured true love. And the same for your Sess, he understands and accepts and shows his feelings in more than mere words. (btw I love that Sess used Kagome's name when explaining himself to her...nice touch there!!!)

I cannot wait to see how this final chapter plays itself out, with your final battle, and perhaps the story of Akiyama will finally see the light. I will not rush you for an update for once as I understand that this last labor of love for the story may take more time... Till then I will perfect my gift wrapping technique for demon boys and how to properly strategically place a bow...darn..I may have to spend hours perfecting the bow placement...Isn't that just awful? :) Seriously...part of me is so looking forward to the final chapter and part of me dreads to see the update...because that will mean it's over...Can you imagine that after all this time of begging for updates now I find myself loathe to do so...

Oh my!! This chapter was wonderful with all of the chaotic happenings and tension between Kagome and Sesshomaru. Inuyasha has definately matured and it shows....I wonder when he's going to mate Moriko too. Aww...I would have picked to stay with Sesshy too in the end. I think Kagome made the right decision to stay...and I'm glad she didn't accidently fall into the well too. *nods head* The part with Kagome and Sesshy in the hot springs was very yummy. Normally I don't approve of him punishing her, but her single- mindedness is bridging on outright stupidity and recklessness. I am decided sad that Kags may never be able to visit her time again, but equally, she made a choice for love and in trust she bestowed the ultimate gift to Sesshoumaru, and that counts for a hell of a lot. It was a selfless gift, beautiful and he showed the right level of appreciation. I do love their springs scene, and her little finger poking said chest lol. I imagined her facial expression and his amusement made me laugh tremendously. Nice segway.

Ooooooooooooh I am looking forward to the fight, you write great action sequences! So I have that to look forward to, and GET OUT OF TOWN but Inuyasha is being all responsible and appreciative of his heritage, even if he has to feign disdain whilst doing it. I am liking the subtle fidelity to family that is going on between both brothers. I wonder what The Big Dog is going to suggest to the cute earred ill tempered pup for a courting gift for his lady? Fascinating. Everything moving to a rather wonderful conclusion. So bring on the fighting, the loving and all things feudal woman! Well done, and yes, it is long, but I love those chapters best. One of the supreme joys to your updates is doing a quick scroll and realizing you have a nice long read ahead of you. I am oving how things are working out, but somehow I always saw Akiyama as an evil sort of person in. but then again the story is not over he could remain as he is or turn out to be a valuable ally in the end or just be one of the enemy in their camp.so many possibilities but only the author desides and thank god for that, if it were up to me things would go all wrong.

Awww, Sessh is jealous and Inu's loving every minute of it ... *snicker* I'll bet you enjoyed the heck out of writing this chapter, didn't you? I mean, doesn't it seem like a royal pain to constantly have to write a character as complex as Sessh ... especially when he has to be a ROYAL PAIN? Wow. Sesshomaru gave Kagome a very beautiful gift, which is one step closer to finishing the courting between them. Yay!!...I'm so happy for them. I'm glad that Sesshy let down his emotional barrier for a bit so Kagome could feel his emotions too. I bet I'd be in a wonderful daze too if Sesshy kissed me like he did Kagome. Lucky girl....just doesn't know how lucky yet. Ahh!!...Akiyama is there too!! Heheh...Sesshy was so worried about Kagome visiting him and stuff. Hmm...Inuyasha finally comes back into the story a little bit. I'm glad that he helps Kagome realize some things about Sesshomaru and their relationship. First, a lovely little bit of temperature raising with Sesshoumaru lowering his emotional barrier and Kagome’s fulsome reaction, very nice indeed. I also like the order of emotions displayed by our cool, sexy aristocrat…Pride, Affection, Desire and Possessiveness…by any other definition…LOVE. The problem is…Kagome cannot read it for what is intrinsic to the sharing of those very emotions. Love is not possible without all those. Nice and subtle

Yet, he who is cast as sage and “Dear Abby” of this piece InuMoutha is the one to clarify for Kags just what is going on. LOL. I particularly like that bit. His goading of Sesshoumaru is even better and priceless LOLOL! Nicely done. For once, I totally don’t want to bitch slap InuYasha but instead be a fly on the wall snickering at Fluffy.

Oh and that Sexy Elemental falls nicely into the goading ….woooooooooooof….

Every time Sesshoumaru sees him, his sphincter clenchs *Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Ass Off*! I love it. GOOD! The subtle manner of his passive aggression to Sesshoumaru is just pppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeerfect! Better yet, nothing the sexy TaiYoukai can do about it…. or can he? Best hurry and attempt to sent mark your property…if you can find the happy duo walking and talking in an amicable carefree manner..perhaps that water drop on his forehead should prove just too enticing to not touch again…hehehehehe RIGHT before Sesshy is able to stop her form doing so.

Okay, I am a bitch, but I think it is a good thing for Sesshy to be put through his paces. He is too use to those about him quivering at his very presence. His mate, SHOULD NEVER do so. When she gives in…it must be RIGHT…and appropriate and never out of fear, but out of affection, desire, possession and complete equity…oh and cause well…lets not kid ourselves..THE BIG DOG IS HOT!

Badda bing badda boom. One Miko a la carte to Mr. Ebil Kitty. (Oh yeah, stick to the whole gaining her trust thinger...)

And I am pleased to say, the pawn is melted so screw it ^^.

What a chapter! So much happened! Kagome finally realized her feelings! And Inuyasha acting as a relationship counsellor to Kagome and Sesshomaru was just too amusing. Now I want to find out about Akiyama's past! It's okay that your updates is a day late-you keep your updates consistent, so that makes us all happy.

The car wouldn't go over 45. Luckly I made it to McDonalds and waited for my dad to come and fix it. It was his birthday too, so as a birthday present we got to each lunch with him after his eventful afternoon.

As for youkai aging (Shippo). If it weren't for the fact that Shippo never ages in the anime, I would have guessed that they grow very quickly while they are young and then slow down as they reach adulthood. But that's just my theory. I like yours aswell. It feels plausible.
Oh, and it was a very mean prank the southern lord pulled on Sesshoumaru. :)

It seems word is out and Kagome's reputation is being threatened. Call in a chaperone or Sesshoumaru needs to declare. Although his thoughts while confronting the panther demon were decisive that no other human or demon would touch her--whether that meant that he would touch her seemed implied. However, there was no mention of being mated in those thoughts, just that he wanted her. Perhaps Sesshoumaru will think this "thing" is desire only.

You out did your self again! Loved the new chapter! Thought that it was awesome how kagome was able to get away from Inuyasha! Such a cliff hanger. Looking forward for the next chapter! What about some of the warriors that came to see Sesshoumaru will they attempt to pursue Kagome as a mate. Loved the purring of the Big BAD Sesshoumaru when Kagome was rubbing him! Well possessive definantly describes the feelings of Sesshoumaru during this chapter. He should feel proud *grins* knowing that his student actually retains what he teaches her. I know a lot of people where they will hear something, and an hour later they can't remember what was said.


I really don't know how the Macbeth test went. On the day of the test one of the sparkplugs in my car came undone and I ended up missing the class. Well, in reality I was there for the last ten minutes of it, but that isn't long enough to take a 90 question test. So I ended up taking it two days later on the day that our school let out for spring break. So I have to wait until Wednesday before I will even have the chance to see what my grade was on it.

I am SO loving this! Espeically the way that Sesshomaru teases Kagome -- but when are they going to realize what is really going on?! Usually InuYasha is the last one to understand anything, but he seems leaps and bounds ahead of the both of them! You could've almost knocked me over with a feather when he said that they were both blind! Love it!

It looks like Sesshoumaru is going to have to hang around each time Kagome washes off his scent so he can scent mark her again, just to help her keep those anoying suitors away. It is so funny he thinks Kagome is unaffected by him, although she is a little clueless. She does seem to believe that although they are close, Sesshoumaru would never take her as a mate. And that is what he professes. Akiyama does seem nice and he is good looking. Perhaps more interaction to become an actual friend and ally and see if he is "mate" material.

As usual the chapter had so much information I always miss something I want to coment about. First of all I want to say that your fight scenes get better and better, I enjoy them so much! Wow...that fight was pretty intense. I can't believe that Ryokusen got away after Sesshomaru's attack. Oh well....they'll get him next time. I found it really cute how Sesshy healed Kagome's injuries too. To bad she doesn't know how they were healed..maybe she'll figure it out later. Nice chapter, and it was good for you to make it so that they didn't beat the Northern Lord at their first try. Then there wouldn't be such tension between the lands. The whole thought process of knowing who we consider the strongest, besides his father, was beat gives a new feel to the story.

Girl this chapter was really good. It was action packed. I was sad that it had to end even though it was a long chapter. I am really looking forward to reading the next chapter because I know it will not disappointment when the fight scene is continued. Hurray!! Another chapter is up....and another really good one too. I'm glad that Sesshomaru is showing Kagome how much he trusts her...that will certainly help with their relationship. This chapter was great!! I can't wait for the next one. I wonder who beat Jaken up though. Even though he is a green, probably slimy youkai he doesn't deserve to be beaten to a bloody pulp. I'm glad that Kagome was able to heal him a little bit too...it certainly made Sesshy greatful of her. Wow...Kagome has great endurance. I know I wouldn't be able to run at the speeds she did for a half a day, thats insane. I found it really funny that the crane youkai came and asked her again though. I didn't expect the same youkai to try and court her...especially while she was running. Hmm....I bet I would be pretty comfy in Sesshy arms too. All snuggled up in his Mokomoko-sama and strong arms....I know I would fall asleep. Kagome's a lucky girl....but I guess not so lucky to have tons of youkai to ask her to court them now. Yay you updated!! I was so worried at the beginning of the chapter though...it almost seemed like Sesshy wasn't going to make it. That was really kind of Inuyasha to give him some of his blood to help him heal too. Like Kagome said, he may not show it but he does care for his brother even just a little bit. Finally Sesshomaru recognizes some of his feelings for Kagome...now he only has to act on them even though he said he wouldn't to Inuyasha. That was really cute how Kagome woke up next to Sesshy also....I would have been pretty comfortable if I was in Kagome's place. Hmmm....I wonder what was with the crane that was trying to court Kagome too. Hopefully Moriko will find out some interesting info on the subject. InuYasha impressed me. He hasn't done that for some time. I love scenes of family and friends helping each other. The fact that they do not normally get along made it all the better. As for Kags wanting to snap at him for ordering her around...*rolls eyes* Sometimes you have to just shut up and obey girl! Being the one demanding reasons why in a crisis makes you not only useless, but a hinderance. In character as usual, though I REALLY want to bash 'Yasha with a book or something. I look forward to Moriko's intelligence and the Inu brothers reactions.

I think it has to do with Moriko.

Here is my train of thought on that...Youkai on a baser level are animals. Animals are creatures of the earth and are always intuned with it...Im thinking that Moriko who felt bad by taking Kagome's first love away sent out a message through nature for a sutiable mate to come find her...hence the Crane... I dunno, that's just my thought...either that or some rumors flew out of Kouga's mouth and spread how she was working with Sesshoumaru and defeated Naraku and was all powerful...but I like my first idea better..

And to answer your question, ACTs are a form of testing here in the US that are based out of a score of 36. Certian colleges only take students with high ACT scores (dont ask for what ACT stands for...I've forgotten) In other words, what we get on the ACTs determines our whole future practically. And Im all caught up on work...so it was also like studying...so Im good for next week ^^.

Good thing Kagome realized that she was seeing an illusion...same thing for Sesshomaru too. I just knew something was off when they started to fight...it just didn't seem like Sesshomaru would do something like that while looking for Naraku. Wow...that seemed like a really powerful attack with everyone's combined powers. I would have been pretty scared seeing a huge blast of power coming from Sesshy and Inuyasha. Oh no...there is one more shard left. I bet Naraku is still alive and has it. Geeze...he doesn't die very easily does he. I totally forgot about the well being in the area. That's terrible that Kagome can't go back to her time now...I feel so sorry for her. I can't wait to find out what happens in the third part though. I am soooo glad that Naraku's finally gone!! *celebrates* XD The fighting in this chapter was amazing. The part where Kagome was captured by Naraku and then used her connection with Sesshomaru to get him to attack...that was soo cool! The resulting combined attact of all 3 of them was incredible! ^_^

I'm really really sad that their agreement is over though!! *cries* But, it's great that they are going to see eachother again once Kagome has found the last shard! ^_^ Oh yeah, that reminds me....I can't believe that there is still one more shard left! Wow, I did not even have time to review last chapter before you sent out this one. Great end for Naraku...and I am impressed with your battle scenes, you plan them out very well, like any amazing general would! Upon reading this chapter I was afraid that the end was soon in sight for this wonderful tale of yours...but yippeee..there is still so much to go. You left alot open with the pendant going god knows where...and I wonder if Kags is really ok...And wow, poor Sess fighting his feelings with every nuance of logic and discipline he possesses and the best part is, is that he seems to be completely unaware that he is fighting any feelings! I truly love this story, I look forward to each and every update...

hi! i'll make this short (or try) since i'm still sick *sniffles* don't know how i managed to read those chapters with this hacking cough and oncoming headache. first off ch. 13 made me laugh! w/sesshoumaru acting the way he was! it's amazing how one's mind can rationalize everything and know when to effectively use denial. i doubt you'll find sesshoumaru smile and uncomfortable very often let alone in the same chapter. kagome reminds me of those kids who always asks "why?" to everything an adult says. it totally pisses and annoys everyone everytime! lol and i kinda saw moriko forming a thing for inuyasha when he was made to guard her. i don't know how i know, you didn't really leave any clues or whatnot (right?). but knowing inuyasha he'll probably do his famous 'foot in mouth' and 'head up his ass' routine. lol nice buildup of the tension (both annoying and sexual) between the our couple. makes me laugh! don't know if that was your intention. btw, thanks for the email alert. truly appreciated it. okay i gotta go and hack up a lung or whatever other body organ that comes up *COUGH-HACK*

As good as ever. And of course I was laughing as Sesshoumaru's discomfort! I often find enjoyment in other peoples' discomfort, though it will often depend on the situation. Though I have no InuYasha fics to prove it (I'm mainly Harry Potter based in that aspect, though I do have one planned), I show my characters no mercy.

Anyway, so it's really good. Your chapters are as good as ever and the story is as good as ever. I hope to see another soon. I suppose it will happen because you update very quickly.

Personally speaking, I am quite enjoying your series of "A Simple Legacy". You have a very good way of conveying the character's thoughts without it sounding so immature and cliche. I can see the changes growing between them without all the immature, "why am I feeling this?..She's so beautiful, but human. Am I in love with... How can I feel this... Oh, I just want too,but it wouldn't be right...] You know all the stupid things that have become so redundent that you just go to read some thing else. And you are actually developing a plotline and creating character development, not just having them look at each other and say let the good times roll sort of thing. I 've been spoiled as of late with the writing of a hand full of writers I'm sure you know, but their talent and storytelling abilities have me looking with a more critical awareness and my Grandma always used to say if you haven't anything nice to say, then say nothing at all...good advice,ne? I hate to hurt others feelings,but if I feel you have worth as a writer, you should be told. I'm never said I am good at Grammar, punctuation and what not, so I leave that up to your fellow writers or English Majors out there. But you have a wonderful gift and if I have not written you before to let you know...I am now! God Bless you and your talent.

I see some softening in Sesshoumaru's armour regarding Kagome. I especially liked his logical thought progression after listening to Kouga state his reasons why Kagome would make such a good mate and would make him stronger. Poor Kagome. The uncertainty of the well is always hanging over her head. All the chapters have been great. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us (OK me).

I think that the idea of the fight scene in my last review did come from another fic...I've read so many it's sad, but it wouldn't suprise me if my memory supplied that from a story I read long ago...and what the hell do you mean not after they defeat Naraku? Are you going to put them through some angsty romance of jealousy and betrayal and Sesshoumaru acting like a little twit with his emotions?! Seriously, I swear his emotions are literaly bottled up...and if they were...and Kagome found em..hehe..crap I just let out a story idea..oh well. But still, to stay in character, he needs to act like he has a barbed stick shoved up his arse.

I love the speed the relationship between Sesshomaru and Kagome is moving. And I love the kind of relationship they have. I have to add that it is a good thing that you don't degrade Inuyasha. One more detail I'd like to point out is that Kagome has brown eyes, it's not a very imoportant thing, but it keeps more to the story instead of the blue eyes Kagome has in other stories. I can't wait to read more!!!

Well it is all coming to a head now. We find out about Kagome's past and Sess feelings are slowly being revealed and then we end with a fight. This was a very entertaining jammed packed chapter. I can't wait to find out what happens next as well as to see how Kagome taps in and finds out how to use Sess power with her own.

Well I'm glad she told him of the dream rather than mentioning it at a crucial, highly inconvenient moment. I also liked her bit of revenge on him. I also hope and pray that he can make clear to her that 'sparing Kouga-kun's feelings' will just hurt him in the long run. Sheesh!

This is very well written, I shall eagerly await an update and wish to see if Sesshy shall show more interest in her nearness and how would he react if he thinks she is attracted to another. Ex. "Kouga has such nice blues eyes; they can be as gentle as a clear stream, with awnings of light that flicker intermittently like fleck of green. Or his eyes can storm a raging blue, an azure so deep you're heart plunges below as well." Whatever. Point is Sesshy hears and is jealous. Reason why Kagome would say this since she has no interest in said wolf could be because she wanted to shut Inuyasha up and she had heard how wounded Kouga had been to his defaming remakrs, and it had been the glimmer iof tears in his eyes which had sparked the idea. Element of suprise is a good thing to consider. I can immagine: Final battle, Kagome is faced off with Naraku. He expects to kill her weak pathetic human self in a matter of seconds. She whips out her kodachis; he laughs. Then all hell breaks loose when he tells her that he knew of her training, but she still goes all martyr on his ass and atempts to kill him despite the fact he knows what she can do. Then the spell kicks in, she gets youkai speed or something, and hauls ass as a battle wages. Then the clearest ending to the battle: Kagome severly wounded, Naraku dead, Sesshoumaru pissed off because he was held back from helping the fight or down right taking Naraku's life. Then...I unno...havent thought that far. Maybe Kagome dies, Sesshoumaru saves her, they become mates..the whole cliche bit (GOD FORBID!)

Yes, this is definatly getting good, and putting me on the edge of my seat again. Kudos!

Anyhoo, not that much of an exciting chapter. Kinda dissapointed that you made Inuyasha and Kagome hold back in the fight. It was kinda boring in all honesty. o.o

AGAIN with the akward situations! Woohoo for hot springs xP, and bad bad bad Kagome. I, for one, would have less control from jumping his bones (as is the same for the rest of the female population that knows about Sesshoumaru). As for my last review, that wasnt a threat...call it motivation x3. And I completely agree with the soft Sesshoumaru bit..no way in hell. Ugh, there is nothing I cant stand more than a soft Sesshoumaru, or even a slightly soft one in early chapter in a story saying 'I love you'. It's just not right. And as for those who are demanding lemons right now...forget them! A good story does not need hot wild animal sex between the chew toys of fate! (Said chew toys being Sesshoumaru and Kagome of course)

I really enjoy this story, but if the plot doesnt thicken soon...I think I might go a bit insane. I mean, it is thickening, but not in a sense where it feels like this story is moving along at a steady rate. Your writing is beautiful; little to no mistakes, and is well descriptive. HOWEVER! The pace it's going at is fine for a while, but over time it's going to become dull. I'm not saying throw everything in right now and throw the whole story in to fast foreward. Merely..get the ball rolling so to speak, but...ugh this is hard to explain...try to make it seem like more of the plot is unfolding with out showing all the cards at once...or something like that. (If you already think that you're doing this, just letting you know from a different point of view that it kinda seems like it isn't)

I really am wondering what the hell was...is going though that damn Bear's mind. Manupliating Sesshoumaru to do someones' dirty work will end in lots of pain or death with the afore mentioned pain before hand.

Ya know, when I say this I mean no disrespect, but why is it in almost every frikin SessKag story I've read the infamous 'Father's grave' scene is imployed in the writing? I know it's when the two first meet...but it gets rather annoying after the fifty millionth time of seeing the reference. In this case though, it's just a memory of being melted...still... it's going to drive me insane one of these days.

I love this pairing with a passion, so much I've stopped watching the shows because it will never go in the direction all SessKag fans want it to go in. C'est la vie, c'est dommage. Thanks for updating once again. I liked the part when Sesshomaru was really conserned for Kagome when she was dreaming. He seemed very worried and wanted her to wake up right away. Awww...so cute. Anyway, I like how the southern lord was a bear youkai. He seemed very big and fluffy. I would have laughed out loud if he gave Sesshomaru a huge hug when they first arrived at his castle. I could just picture the look on Kagome's face if that was to have happened. That was really sad about the sorceress's baby and how she died by her daddy. I felt so sorry for her. One minor irritation though: there is no plural tense in Japanese, ans such it seems wrong when I read words like "youkais." Perhaps it's better to think of it as the plural being the same as the singular.

I wonder....if that woman was so upset that her daughter had been killed because the Shikon no Tama was inside her (that was veeery sad, btw)..then why did she put it in Kagome, when the same thing could've happened to her? Did she do it because she didn't sense any youkai in Kagome's era? Because she figured Kagome would stay there, and be safe from power-hungary demons?

Tee-hee...I was just waiting for the Southern Lord to sweep Sesshomaru up into a big bear hug! lol! I really liked Kagome's response when he questioned her following Sesshomaru unchaperoned, though. ^_^ But what I don't understand, was why he insisted they stay at his palace...it sounded like he was planning something, but he didn't do anything. hmm.

Ahh, another chapter to this rather intresting and wonderful story. It's good that you are one of those authors who slowly paint a picture rather than throwing a whole bucket of paint onto the canvas.

The Southern Lord...oh my. I was just waiting for him to create a -very- akward moment with Sesshoumaru. Like sweep him up into a bear hug. He just seems like that kind of cheerful person...but I cant help but get the vibe of a possible Kouga-like personality underneath all the formalities.

Oh, before I forget, I was wondering if you keep up with the anime at least. Since they show the last shards location in the Inu-no-Tashio's grave... just wondering if you were going to do that or if you were going to stray from the canon bit (as InuyashaxKagome fans scream the SessxKag is a crack pairing and as far from canon as it gets....*flips em the bird*)

Another chapter that seems like filler... oh joy. But, it had some important bits like Inuyasha figuring out the plot, and getting teh feck off of Kagome's back about the whole Sesshoumaru deal bit.

Need more development, and traveling in Feudal Japan always makes people fall in love...pfft...yeah right. It will probably be a life or death situation before Sesshoumaru admits to something like that in the far far future.

Dust cloud? Coulda sworn it was a cloud made of his youki...meh. Could be wrong, but a dust cloud...how would he keep his billowly white hakamas all pristine if it was dust? Unimportant, but it's boggling my mind. xP

Yet another great chapter from one of my favorite authors. I find Inuyashas reaction to the wood youkai interesting. Will there be a future romance between these two eventhough it seemed Inuyasha was set on Kagome???? The portrayal of her character is very likeable so I wouldn't be surprised it that is one of the twists in your wonderful story. I can't wait for your next update. I love the fact that you hinted at Kags growing power being equal to Sesshy's because eventhough he has her at a disadvantage because of her debt this seems to level the playing field.

Indeed, this chapter, personally, I just wanted to slap Kagome. Don't take this wrong, it's in her character to be the peacemonger...but some times it gets on my nerves. Espically when all sense and reason fly out of her so she doesn't recall her deal...and it was such a hassle to get her to go along in the first place... seriously... I just want to smack her. High and mighty peacemonger...but a total martyr when it comes down to some situations.

Oh well, aside from my useless rantings, honestly, this chapter felt like a filler. Meh, but it was still good.

This chapter was excellent! I loved the fight scene, it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!
That girl, Moriko, she didn't seem like she was evil at all after she tried to erect a barrier around herself...is she really Naraku's spawn? She didn't act like it after Sesshomaru took the pendant..was her previous behaviour because of that pendant thing? I wonder what Sesshomaru wants with it...and what does it have to do with the Jewel Shards? Why does Sesshomaru need them for his plan to work?

Part one flowed very nicely into part two. I think what Kagome's mother heard in her head during the birthing of her daughter was something of a spell placed on Kagome that was going to take effect on her 18th birthday and that's why she was acting strangely with Sess in part one of 'ASL' and I think that's why there is a link between Kags /Sess. Preordained from the beginning of her birth to whatever will happen in the next chapters ahead. Why did Sess mention that Kagura's death by Naraku was in a long list of things that he had to pay for? Was there a connection between Sees and Kagura at one time? Could that strange youki that has taken hold of Kagome be from Kagura...maybe? Or am I just rambling a bunch of nonsense? Oh well, it's a great story and please update soon. :)

Okay I have to confess... I've been reading this story for a long time, but it is only now that I got off my lazy arse to review it. xD

Sesshoumaru's request seems remarkably simple (maybe even too simple? There must be some hidden agenda here somewhere). I was almost sure that he was the one behind Kagome's strange youki and that he would ask her to be his mate or something. I guess I was wrong. But one thing that I'm pretty sure that I won't be wrong is the Ayame/Inuyasha pairing. I was already sure of it in the second chapter. They seem to be spending a lot of time together ; ) Now the only question is, who's Kouga going to be with?

okay...one thing i REALLY like about your story is that you don't have 5 long paragraphs describing how each seperate individual person feels at breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and tea time on sunday). do you get what i'm saying? now, the "emotional monologue" has it's own purposes, and sometimes they're entertaining if the character is miroku and perverted/crazy, but most times they are LONG, BORING, AND OVER-USED. thank you for not rushing the relationships, but still keeping the story moving with a purpose.

O_O i LOVE how you're having kagome imitate the whip move. i've NEVER seen that done before; nice touch.
there are two things foreshadowed with kouga...he had a thoughtful moment when kag mentioned the ayame/inu itemhood prospect--could this be jealousy?! AND, he could have been hiding the jealousy by (once again) trying to woo kagome. or he just doesn't give a rats ass about ayame and never will. who knows?

and on a last note, i'm curious as to how kagome will react about maybe becoming a youkai (IF that's where you're heading and you're not TRICKING US!!!) she seems WAY against it right now; i wonder if she'll be super against it later, or if she'll take it in stride. and will her youkai companions be insulted if she is totally against it?

I really enjoyed this chapter...it further enforces the bond between K & S...but I don't know about the youki affect on her. I am always a little wary of a demonic Kags..but with your writing so far I do not think I have anything to worry about...you will make it work no matter what you decide to do with this story!!! I can't wait till the next chapter...

I have decided, that I will never stop reading your works. Your style of writing keeps me reading! *latches her self to the story*. Meh, methinks something may have happened to Kagome on her 18th b-day as well. Almost like...it wasnt something only connecting Sesshoumaru to Kagome...more like...exchanging a part of themselves. It would explain why Kagome has youki, and why she can sense Sesshoumaru's 'non-existant' emotions. Like parts of their souls got switched...but only like a fragment or so. Meh, makes sense to me. Mayhaps the reason her youki turned darker was because Sesshoumaru...was pissed off? Or fighting a tough battle..hm... Oh well, probaly wrong, fun to guess though. Keep on writing, and take you time so you can enjoy what you write!
