Wow... I have to say the whole 'surprise' with Kagome's grandpa threw me for a loop. I can usually tell where a story is leading and that doesn't leave alot of room for shock, but that... I was definately shocked. That was just pure genius. ^^ I just wanted to say that I enjoyed this story. I LOVE THIS STORY! Sesshoumaru and Kagome's characters were right on the mark. You were able to portray them and show a gradual change in the way that they see each other without compromising the nature of the actual characters. After reading some other stories I've noticed that it's hard for some people to create a Sesshoumaru/Kagome story because some want Sess to be lovey dovey and have a dramatic change of heart, but he's not like that and his upbringing says that acting that way and showing his emotions is a sign of weakness. But then others try to make Kagome a flighty creature who doesn't know what she wants and is just happy to settle for any male's attention. I'm glad some people know how to keep the characters real (or as real as they can be).Overall, I love your story and I can't wait until you finish Tears of the Fallen. Good luck with your other stories as well and keep writing.

Hurrah for smut, indeed. I couldn't even stop for a glass of water; it kept me tied to my seat, literally. ^_^ But it was worth it. I haven't read such high-quality smut in a long time... lemony goodness after lemony goodness with some sugar and spice for good measure. No annoying clichÃƒÂ©s and almost no errors to detract from the enjoyment of the piece. And on that note, Grandpa HigurashiÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s revelation made me laugh for five minutes straight. I could almost picture him as my darling Darth Vader. *ahem* Moving on...

I loved your little interludes with Inuyasha and Kouga ( and let's not forget about Sango :D ) - though I have to say that little Miroku/Kaede episode left me feeling a bit disturbed. Thank the Lord for the bit of shounen-ai that followed. Hmm, though I'm not quite sure that what they did qualifies as making love on any level. ;)

I know they say that after marriage things slow down but seeing how that's mostly a big fat lie - and probably wouldn't apply to demons anyway, who knows, maybe you could write a sequel sometime.
A little bit of lemon in the story; a little bit of lime when the children are sleeping; a pinch of adventure to smell faintly of a plot; that sort of thing...

I think that in the end the title of the story turned from: "Love....has nothing to do with this" to "Love...has everything to do with this" but what can I say I am a sucker for happy endings.
So in the light of what I wrote in the previous ranks I must say that this story must have an sequel named: "Love...has everything to do with this" just to see what the future is holding for our happy heros.(Let's not forgot about Miroku, Kouga, Inuyasha, Sango and if I may humble give you an advice you may put a lot of other characters in your story :).)
But this is entirely your decision and I must be happy with anything you think is proper.

It is a secret of mine that I am slightly inclined...now, only slightly mind you, towards Inuyasha and Miroku fics. Something about the dynamics between them just makes me think...things.

However, I've got to say the Kouga/Miroku pairing in this one was acceptable. Okay, maybe more than acceptable. Slightly....faintly...

Damn it! I'm not supposed to bounce around! Being loyal to a pairing is like...I dunno! You've made me into an adulterer! *sigh*...now, I've got to scour the net for more K/S fics with a K/M subpairing. *snorts* I wonder how many of those I'll net.

My friend Shadow, I truly believe that you have done the best Sesshoumaru portrayal that I have ever read. At least from what we know of him in the series anyway. I truly like the direction you are heading with this. I always wondered myself why youkai would have died out if they were indeed a powerful species. Humans couldn't have really gotten that much more intelligent as to wipe out a total species such as they are. I agree with guns and such that it would have helped even the odds "somewhat" but not enough to kill the whole existence of them. Youkai would have also been evolving and learning to get around the new weaponry the humans created thus still giving them advantage to defend themselves. And as far as your mind being in the gutter, I told you it would become an addicting thing once you finally found your nitch in writing it. I cannot remember if I've reviewed this story yet, and am too laxy to go back and see.

However, I read this last chapter and I had to comment. I love your Sesshoumaru. His need for Kagome warring with his innate disgust for her humanity-all couched in sarcastic diatribes-makes me laugh and then point at the screen chanting 'hahaha.'

The lemons are great, of course, and now the addition of the IY/Kouga 'suggestion' has me wondering and waiting for more. Just what DID happen to them and is Kagome REALLY a part of the feudal era, and thus she can have a happy ending with Sesshoumaru? I am a sucker for happy endings, but I will, for you, manage to wrangle my angst meter out of the closet if you decide it's not in the cards.

The last chapter I read didn't say anything about Tensegia dying, it said that Tensegia and Teatsegia were one sword at one time, because Inu Papa didn't thing that InuYasha could handle the Meindu technique it was separated, and that sword was given to Sesshomaru. I read the InuYasha compainion translations that come out each week online. The last chapter talked about how Sesshomaru was going to use Kana's mirror fragment to steal some of Teasiga's powers for Tensiga...but nothing about the swording dying. I must say you left me rather disappointed, I have been following you story from chapter one, and this was deffinately not the ending I envisioned. Though it was not a bad ending. Perhaps you could write an alternate ending that carries from the middle of chapter 12 on to the end, without Naraku involved, and without interruptions. As for the title and the deletion of my story, well... its like this. I racked my brain until it was a puddle of goo trying to think up a title. I didn't like the kami are crazy and it was making me angry that I could come up with something I liked. So in the spirit of frustration I just deleted the whole damn thing. That was when the new title came to me. So I decided to pretend that this is a new story and will post the second chapter tomorrow. So there my stupid brain take that!

I guess I will let you go now. This is getting a little long and beginning to feel like a rant more than a review.
