This looks to be a very good story in the making. Your opening summary had me curious enough to read on. Good style and flow. I'd like some longer chapters, but for the first two, it's a real attention getter. You have me wanting more. Please... Continue... don't lose focus. There are those of us who when we read a good beginning, stay loyal. I'm definitely loyal!!!!

That is a very dynamic way to start a story. Good to grab some readers head-on. Short though it may be, it is a good introduction nonetheless. I'd love to see this story through, so thumbs-up here.

That was a really great start, good flow and feeling. The only think I might have wished for was for it to be a bit longer, but then, I'm selfish. Anyway, I absolutely love it when authors are willing to start their story after the begining of the events. It leaves some mystery and suspence. The whole trick is actually making it real for the characters...that they already know what's happened and act accordingly, and you managed to do that well here. Really looking forward to more!
