I'm surprised because I like the story and I'm an insomiac currently reading this at 1:50 am so if I like t now it's good. I only read stories that interest me. I would suggest you write the way you are inspired and everyone else can screw themselves to their hearts content. It is like Aesop's fables; no one is ever satisfied by the arrangement so just do what you must.
