OMG this chapter was too good! I love every single bit of it from beginning to end! From Kagome's own musings about her relationship with Sesshoumaru, to the twins and eventually Shippo and Rin crawling to them in the morning, to the perfect morning they had..oh it's like they were in their own piece of heaven. :) And I was laughing so much when Kagome was confused and thought Shi'inchi was Sesshoumaru LOL. :D And I wonder who is the person who was shouting at the door..? I hope we keep getting warm moments like this..they just melt my heart and make read them over and over again. Awesome update! I can't wait to read the next chapter. what a way to end with a cliffhanger. :P

Everyone is happy and snuggled in despite life's storms. That's a miracle. I totally understand how they forgot to call Sesshoumaru.  With the kerfuffle at daycare and usually taking him dinner at the office as he works late, I can see it slipping the mind in the wake of all the chaos of the day. These are very good relationship building chapters. The interaction between Rin and Shippo was good and needed.
