You are right about Japan being quite against working mothers. They don't have much to offer them, more so to working SINGLE mothers. That's one of many reasons why the population of Japan is on a decline. Many working women tend to be more focused on their careers and having fun rather than starting a family though in recent years, I think the government's been a little nicer, though not so much more on that issue. They've even allowed people of Japanese descent to return to Japan just to bring the population up a little. ...sorry for the rant. I took a populations course when I was in college and did a paper on Japan's decreasing population. Talking too much now! Ok! Anyway, great story so far! Loving it still! :)

That ended much better than it could have. it originally felt like them fighting came out of nowhere, but I expect that it did for them too. These last three chapters helped clear that up.

I understand you told us to hang tight, and that fights are normal in a relationship, and I agree they are. But they both seem to be over reacting, ESPECIALLY Sesshoumaru. You haven't established yet that Sesshoumaru should react to her words so harshly - if anything I would expect him to clam up and stop talking to her, rather than shout at her.

I've noticed that quite a bit lately. The characters aren't reacting in ways I expect them to from the way you've established them.
