Oh, that was so sad, it actually made me tear up while reading! Of course, I made the mistake of listening to the song while reading, so I think that played a big part in it... It just sounded so real, the feelings were almost tangible, his pain, agony, longing for her and knowing she was not coming back *snifs*.
I'd never heard the song before, but now every time that I'll listen to it, your story will come into my mind due to the big impression it left. I also listen to songs repeatedly all the time without any reason...you're not alone!
