i really rather like this darkness, i also really hope inuyasha gets his in the worst way. seriosuly!

The character changes were smooth in my opinion, you did a good job putting the differences in their characters made it obvious who each of them was so that wasn't an issue. I feel really bad for Kagome, Stockholm Syndrome's a bitch.
