What a great way to start my morning - reading about Sesshomaru being sterile.  I had to keep from laughing out loud and waking my family at 5:30 in the.... Poor Inuyasha, he gets stuck with the youkai female.

Great little story - I love Touga.  He's such a Dad in this one.  You're not truly a parent until you can laugh at your kids and visa versa.  Makes for entertaining road trips in my family.

Taking a stab at the quote... I think it was from Airplane II. At least there was something very similar to that in the movie. The chapter was fabulous as usual. Of course I love everything you write. I like the idea of scent overriding all the Inu's senses, including their common sense. hehe

Yay! I'm actually really glad this one wasn't finished either there were too many lose ends with the first part! I'm really happy that you're delving into this two mates idea very few people do so and your portrayal of Kagome in her position is amazing! And Arata is so cute!

Oh and please show us what Inuyasha is doing. After his hateful treatment of Kagome, who had never done anything to him, I´d like to see how he will pay. Karma is a bitch after all. I hope Kikyou will bring him to heel as he planned to cheat on her, too. Although how you can mate someone with a clay body is beyond me.

I´m so glad you continued this one. It´s so sad but beautiful and I love the angst. Though I don´t think of Kagome as Izayoi, as that woman still slept with a mated male when she had to know, that he already had a mate and a grown son. Sesshoumaru´s existence was not a secret such as Arata´s. Even if he doesn´t see it like that because of his customes, Sesshoumaru still deceived her. No wonder she´s bitter, I would be, too.

And she´s absolutely right with the half-breeds. It´s hard to imagine full blooded youkai accepting half-breeds among them, especially Sesshoumaru. I love the Sessh/Kag pairing but Sesshoumaru wanting hanyou children from anyone is just not believable, I won´t buy it. Hell, it was him who thinks that hanyou are unnatural and abominations and if you look at nature, he is right. Animals don´t breed with other species and I think that Sesshoumaru is the prime example for that. I think he is capable to love someone but breeding with a human is something else. Well, let´s see what you´ve planned and maybe I´ll be convincend.

Don´t get me wrong, I love this story because it is very intriguing and I don´t think I´ve read something similar.
