hmmmmmmmm As for Dead peoepl that can advise Inuyasha there's 3 that you could use, 1 would be best i think, and the others maybe not so much...

1. Midoriko - she's the jewel's miko, she more then likely picked kagome, or you could work it in that way. 2. Onigumo - While he was the soul that made up the human sacrifice that became Naraku, he had loved Kikyo. And Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation. He could show Inuyasha, what life could have been like had he gotten the miko 50 years ago, without all the drama that was Naraku. and finally...3. Naraku himself. I think he'd be a bit more evil about things, everyone so far wants inuyasha to grow up, learn from this. Naraku could possibly make it so that Inuyasha see's JUST how EF'd up he's made things. How much he's broken things with Kagome, and then leave him with the understanding that without her, Inuyasha is nothing.

WOW! I am so HAPPY. there were so many chapters to read :) This is GREAT!

While I'm not HAPPY about Sesshomaru having such a Horrible childhood... I can see how it has made him the daiyoukai at the beginning of your story (as each Sesshomaru in most stories is different). This... this chapter is painfully heart-wrenching. Even though I am glad Sess-mom has experienced at least Some comeuppance. I am glad you made the distinction that Yuugao was a Friend, and not a youthful romantic interest. To me that makes everything surrounding what happened that much stronger.

I am still finding it interesting that we are learning all this about our favorite inu-daiyoukai through Inuyasha learning it. A fascinating approach on which I don't believe I've yet to commend you. So kudos to you for taking this road less traveled. With Izayoi-hime as her son's guide, no less!

I am in advance glad for whatever even small happiness for Sesshomaru you promise is to come. It seems in killing Yuugao he has taken from himself his one light, so it will be nice if he has Something to keep him from falling completely into darkness.

I just finished reading the funniest book. No, really. It was quite hilarious. I've never laughed quite that long in one sitting (I read it in ONE sitting, which is why I'm up at 2 AM). It's called The Royal Treatment, by Mary Janice Davidson, and I totally recommend it.

This was like getting hit with a hammer. It was really, really sobering. Sesshomaru is in such angst, and you make me understand that he wasn't in control because of his beast, but it's so depressing! I feel like Inumama is trying, in her own twisted, awful, horrendous way, to protect Sesshomaru, but it's not right! Or is it? I just don't particularly understand why she felt he had to be raised that way. Was it because she was raised that way, and that was the only way she knew to raise him, or was it because the conditions at the court of the west were such that this was the best way he could be okay and protected?

Wow. I'm feeling like an investigator. I could write a book! Inside InuMama's Mind: Fiction Versus Reality.
