Well, I got that one wrong. *gonk* But the terms of their contract doesn't seem like such a huge thing to lie about. Yes, it means that he didn't need to keep her (in which case, Miroku also lied), that they weren't really married, or he could have exchanged her or something, but he likes her now and that's what matters. It isn't like she slept with Inuyasha or lied about who she was. Speaking of which, everyone else seemed to know what was going on, so the blame could also fall on their shoulders. Yeah, Inu-chan doesn't like Sessho too much, but he's still his brother (not to mention he'd gone out of his way to make Kagome uncomfortable and then made himself scarce after scaring the shit out of her).

Depending on the exact wording of the contract/license/receipt, this could've been blown way out of proportion.

Bah, they'll get through this easy.

And the truth comes out...well sorta. She is still working her way up to it. I wonder what she is going to end up telling him and how he will deal with it. I mean won't they still be married, but I wonder if he could "return" her. Well I can't wait to see what happens regardless but hopefully on good things :)

Kind of cute. it's the best way to do it though. Like ripping off a Band-Aid. Quick and relatively painless. Sweet-ish chapter. I love Sessho's confusion.
