*squees!!!* No more brutal torture for Kagome! Yes! A good chapter, found much relief in it for both Sesshoumaru and Kagome. I was a bit disappointed that Sess was not the one to gut Kumano...after all that he did to Kagome, he deserved to be tortured in much the same way.

I really enjoy this sort of introspective chapter-I like to read about a character's feelings and compare their POV with what the reader objectively sees and the subjective views of other characters. It's the kind of chapter I long for when characters go from misunderstanding to misunderstanding :) I'm also intrigued by the anonymous letter Sesshoumaru received. His sudden arrival in the chapter before seemed very abrupt (maybe this was just me?) so perhaps this letter will shed some light on how he found her. I hope Kagome wakes soon and can begin to take a more active role in the use of her priestess powers. Thanks so much for all the quick updates!

I have to admit I love the emotional battle that Sesshoumaru is going through and still you've managed to keep him perfectly in character the entire time. I really appreciate how he's waging war within himself about Kagome's hidden identity but at the same time questioning himself!

As always amazingly written, it made my heart want to break open and cry! It was so awesome waking up this morning to a new and beautiful chapter of Wisteria!

Sess actually shed tears? That was truly touching. But I think he has to face himself a little bit more before she wakes up. and what will her response be when she wakes? Will she try to get away or stay trapped in her nightmare?

Beautiful!  Now that Sesshomaru admits the error of his ways, they can move on... when she wakes up.  I know tha Kagome does not have it in her heart to blame him.  But things are going to be tough for her, being all broken and injured.... and who wrote the myserious letter, hmmm?

Okay I haven't read the chapter yet, but I have to say I agree this your statement here:

Only thing I think there would be to smell would be fairly recent sex/semen.

Aw, he cried.  At least, he remembered that she did try to chase him off.  It's his own fault that he feels so deceived.  What, did he want a living doll to play with?  Keh!  ^_^  I'm glad Kagome is finally safe.  It's a good thing she hadn't been raped--aside from the fact that it would have been awful.  Talk about stupid societal rules.  Can't wait to see what you do next.  ^_^

Well, in my case, I know that it has been a long time since I last left a review for you and after the last seven chapters or so, I feel like it's about time that I do just so!

As someone who has not been able to update her own story for the last year, I find that with each chapter that I read from this fanfiction, I am drawn into the story and inspired to work on mine. I love how you are very detailed in each scene and you don't leave a lot of room for imagination (such as the damage to Kagome in this chapter - btw, I agree with you on how I dislike it when Sesshomaru can "smell" her virginity so I appreciated that you didn't do that). You bring new concepts and ideas to both Kagome and Sesshomaru yet you stay true to who they are in the original series. I'm so jealous over this fact and wish I had the perception to think scenes through like yours! Now, with that said, I will say that from my stand point, I was a little disappointed on the "rescue" scene with Sesshomaru because I guess that I was imagining something a little more "dramatic." Not to say that your scene doesn't work, because it does, but the way you were leading the "suffering" scenes made me feel like I was waiting for something a little more than what you delivered. Besides that, I'm really curious to see how you are going to take this fanfic. And as I am sure that you don't need this advice, I just want to say: don't get bored with it. I have read plenty of fanfictions in my time to know that stories that go on this long tend to make the author bored and so the scenes turn into boredom because of that. There are some chapters like this last one that you've posted that tear at my heart (and also my favorite scene when they were in the rain and I was very happy to see you reference that once more!) but, like I said, some of the other chapters like the "anti-climatic" savior scene with Sesshomaru (in my opinion) tends to not...thrill me as much.

I apologize for the long review (though I'm sure that, like me, you enjoy reading these type of responses) and I cannot wait to read the next chapter to this story! I will do my very best to review again in the future! Best wishes!
