They can't have kids so he figured the best thing was to leave?  I guess that is the thinking for the time period. ... but instead of exploring other options and working as a team to decide,  he decided for her.  So sad. 

Interesting start to what may be a good story. Considering a few spelling and grammatical errors, this was a well written story thus far. The summary was intriguing which got my attention and I am looking forward to reading more and see where this leads to. Great job!
